Sometimes I notice among our kabayans, merun tayong “intellectual laziness”. The fact is, guidelines for applying for visas to Canada are available and free online at the IRCC website, and even if you had a Grade 12 level English comprehension you SHOULD be able to successfully manage a visa application on your own, if you only follow the guidelines to the letter.

Based sa statement nung single mother, parang ang real intent sa pagpunta sa Canada ay hindi bilang tourist kung di ay maghanap ng trabaho. These immigration officers were not born yesterday - alam na alam na nila yung mga tactic ng mga may balak mag-TNT. I visited Canada 20 yrs ago along with hundreds of other Filipinos. And it was shocking how majority of them chose to stay in Canada illegally (to look for a job, to marry a Canadian partner, etc.) when we all went there as tourists. This is the reason why so many countries around the world require PH passport holders visas before entering their countries and, despite having a visa, some get refused to enter still or even gets banned.

I never use an agency to apply for anything. Kung ikaw mismo ang mag-apply at least alam mo ang nangyayari at kahit anong tanong nila alam mo sagot & also alam mo mga documents na sinabmit mo! And nakatipid ka pa at hindi ka nagbayad ng agency fees.

You can apply for job in canada under tourist visa. It started during pandemic for tourist who were stucked in canada. The program was extended till 2025 if Im not mistaken. You can get a work permits as long as you get employment offer. Kaya marami nag aapply tourist visa ngayon.

Once employed that tourist visa csn be converted to a working permit. I wonder why the group was not permitted to travel. Maybe using one agent, providing one email for the group. These tourists should stress that their purpose of travel is to visit not to work. .and upon entering look for employment. Employment is the ticket to transforming that tourist visa to a work permit. But then nobody is sure to be able to land employment there. They should have applied individually. Off course immigration Canada is making sure one has an itinerary, place to stay, travel insurance and a return ticket maybe. The important thing is when asked for the purpose of the visa ,state its for a visit not to work and in the course of rhe visit was able to find employment great!

@@boyasia5874 If I recall correctly, that policy applies only to Filipinos who were stranded in Canada during the pandemic. Post-pandemic, the Canadian government also looked to foreign nationals already in Canada to help the economy re-start via jobs left vacant by citizens or because companies were unable to fill certain positions following the pandemic. I don’t think it applies to tourists entering Canada now. The fast-track work permit program on the other hand requires among other things an existing Canadian visa and an offer of employment by a Canadian business or company.

A visitor visa is a privilege. So when you applied for it, be honest. They have a way of checking if you are lying or dishonest with your information being submitted to them. And even if they grant you a visa, they still have the right to cancel it anytime. And you have no right to question it. So accept and wait for the appropriate time to apply again.

Meron reason kung bakit na banned sa Canada. Usually kapag na banned ka ng ganyan meron sinasabi ang mga Immigration officer sa kada tao na ban at na cancel na visa. Hindi lang naman Canada ang gumagawa niyan. Kapag nag apply ka ng Visitor Visa kailangan visitor ka lang hindi puedeng mag trabaho Kase yung inaplyan mo visitor visa na dapat working visa.

​@@geezmos9403 thats under LMIA... ibang visa yun.. LMIA is "tourist visa" na pwede mag work sa mga company na approve ng IRCC para makapag work. I believed 20hrs a week ang allowed. Kapag normal na tourist visa lang hindi sya pwede mag work. Thats illegal kaya sya na banned for misrepresentation.

The reason you obtain a tourist visa in the first place is to be a 'tourist'. If your actual intention is to find employment in the country you are applying to get a tourist visa from, then it is fraud.

Even if by some miracle you get a legitimate job offer, you must leave Canada and then re-enter. But what average Filipino can afford to do this? Based on the profiles of the people featured, it was obvious this was not their intent, but to eventually stay illegally. Also, immigration officers have the right to deny your entry for whatever reason. If they suspect that the reason for your arrival in Canada wasn't honest and forthright, they will deny your entry -- and rightfully so! It is a fact that a lot of Filipinos who come to Canada on a tourist visa do overstay and work under the table. This is precisely what immigration officers are trying to avoid. Unfortunately, the Philippines is still a poor country, and Immigration Canada is wary of illegal immigration among Filipinos. Why not just apply for a work visa instead?

Why use an agency and pay that much money to get a visitor’s visa? Work talaga ang pakay. Kung talagang tourist ang reason, why Canada? Dito na lang kyo bumisita sa Florida, USA near Orlando. You need at least 2 weeks vacation to see Disney World, Univeral Studios, Sea World, etc. Ang laki !! Just around Orlando, ang dami ng mapapasyalan as a Tourist. At may Jollibee pa! Yun nga lang magbaon ng pera (hotel, rental car, food, entrance fees more than $300 ang bayad for 3 day visit sa Disney). Pero sulit nman. Then 2 days sa Universal Studios. And the rest mga tourist spots tulad ng Kennedy Space Center, etc.

Most probably, the agency stated that every one of them has a successful business but no dependents and has close attachment to a pet dog that will be left in the Philippines. Will never use travel agencies, nothing against them and i’m pretty sure not all are like this but better to DIY incase something happens at least I can answer to it straight away. Also its less expensive.

Kasi sa totoo lang scam din ang ginagawa ng canada. Hmmmm ang galing .... pag tourist visa hindi nangangahulugan na pag meron ka na nito ay stroll in the park ka na , kailangan meron ka ring datung na magpapatotoo turista ka nga , ang siste kaya marami sa pinoy ang na ban sa ibang bansa dahil nga sa misinterpretation natin dito pa lang sa Pilipinas.

i think bumagsak sa interview yan sa immigration, i travel to different countries even in singapore theyll ask u y u are there, i think when i went to sydney too, mahahalata sa sagot if magtotour or visit ka sa friend mo or iba pakay mo, nasa manner ng sagot yan kapag nagstutter ka at hirap ka magexplain, pag tinatanong ako kahit sang bansa na why are u here or what are u gonna do here? khit d ako nag agent, straight sagot ko, for vacation or for tour yun lang not utal not anything and not nervous and look in their eyes without blinking coz its the truth, nagpahalataan ang asta nila na d sila tourist tapos wala pa sigurong tatak ng ibang travel passports nila. dapat kahit nakapikit ka lahat ng tanong sayo kya mo sagutin if ever na sinubmit mo sa application mo sa visa or agent mo.

Sa website mismo ng canadian immigration, may mga application, may job postings for DIRECT hire. Wag mag short cut sa mga agency kuno na yan. Again, nasa canadian immigration site LAHAT ng kailangan para sa canadian dream

good job at hindi sila nakapasok sa canada dahil kaduda duda nman tlga un intention nila. may mag tourist visa or visitor visa ba na mag babayad ng 50k para sa application? dapat nga i ban sila for life dahil pag nakatungtong yang mga yan sa canada for sure tnt mga yan.

Nasanay kasi kayo na puro "bahala-na". Hindi uubra ung baluktot na sistema na "bahala-na" sa Canada. Sa sobrang kagustuhan ninyo makatipid ayan tuloy, banned kayo nang 5 years. Tourisst visa = tourist. Work Visa = Work. Ganoon lang kasimple.

angmga nakakapg work rito ay mga Student Visa na gustong mag aral sa Canada at they are allowed to work Nghunity tourist Visa ka hindi pwede mag work marami akongmga nakikita namga Pinoy na tourist Visa pero nag hahanap ng work GUMAGAWA SILA NG SARILI NILANG PROBLEMA

Seguro inalok sila ng agency na magtourist sa canada, ang agency na lahat ng bahala sa show money and other source of income ng mga applicante. Pumayag naman sila basta magbayad sila kasi canada na yan. Yon pala iisang show money ang ginamit sa lahat. Ibig sabihin walang show money ang mga applicant kung baga fraud ang mga show money. Kala nila makakalosut sila sa Canada. Sana magsilbing aral ito sa lahat.

iisang show money???😂 so iisang pangalan sa limang account?😂 ang binabanggit ata sa news ay iisang template ang ginamit...ang mga applicant kailangan sumulat ng kanilang itenary at kwento kung bakit sila dapat isyuhan ng visa (parang application letter) na bahagi ng kanilang mga isa submit na dokumento...eh pare parehas ang kanilang mga kwento sa buhay dahil iisang template lang ginamit ng agency😂

@@jakepancake7446 iba ibang pangalan ang nakalagay sa template kada applicant, hindi iisang pangalan. kung sa template lang ang sinasabi na dahilan napaka babaw naman but it could trigger suspicion. nong nagverify ang IRCC nakita nila na may fraud sa mga documents ng mga yan. particularly sa show money, pinalit palitan ng pangalan nila, pero malamang iisang show money lang yan mga bank account at property na ginamit nila. hindi kasi sinasabi ng mga applicante na legit ang kanilang mga show money or supporting papers. natural hindi nila sasabihin yon at magiging defensive sila to protect themselves. magpakita sila ng show money nila na legit at kaya nila ifinance ang travel nila at least. sabi nga nong isa para magwork siya sa Canada kasi single mother siya, it means wala siyang enough money kasi ang purpose niya tourist visa ang stepping stone niya para makapunta sa Canada at magwork. Ang importante diyan legit lahat ng papers mo kasi nagbiverify ang IRCC.

Let's face it, some of our " kababayans" are going to Canada as a tourist but with intention to work and become TNT.

Halata naman mag work yan sa canada. Sa pagsagot palang.

Don’t complain if your intention was to work there. One of the remarks was very telling. And perhaps it is a blessing in disguise. Canada is becoming like the U.S.A.

@@Ambrose-hb3bl, Hi, it’s the housing/rental/homelessness issue, drugs, even the healthcare is deteriorating…. I know of people who left, plan to leave or have put their plans of moving there on hold.

Huwag kasing ipa-asa sa AGENCY ang pag-apply ng visa sa Canada... be it tourist or work visa. Dami talagang Peenoise na sobrang pasaway na nga, desperado pa.

Pero ang purpose ng majority jan hanap talaga work sa Canada, kunwari lng tourist. 😁 Halata sa wordings ni ate nung huli na "Canada nalang daw ang hope niya, tas na cancel pa,"😅

If you're looking for work in Canada, go to legit agencies to help you. Para di sayang ang effort at pera. Coming here on a tourist visa to find work is very risky and that is clearly misrepresentation.

Be truthful and honest with your applications.

kung gusto mo mag tourist sa canada planning to get a job? think not twice but multiple times. magiging mesirable lang buhay mo however if you are prepared then its your choice. ang jobs sa canada meron prioritized. first priority ang mga canadian citizens, legal landed immigrants, permanent residence, international students. tourist visas big question. makakuha man jobs ang tourist visas ay iyan yun jobs na walang kumukuha sa mga naka prioritized meaning odd jobs na might never ma-experience mo sa pinas. meron accountability ang mga company dito sa government of canada kaya they are very careful for violations that might cost them dollars. i am just trying to make awareness marami na kababayan natin napunta sa miserable sitwasyon. do it legal way, may take years to apply at least you are safe in Canada and enjoying with rest of fellow kababayans who followed the right pathway to better life.

Pwede naman mag self-apply ng visa. Upload lang ng documents at wag na umasa sa travel agent. Pero bat parang yung last applicant umaasa sa tourist visa para sa anak?? hmmm....

Madali lang naman kasi mag apply ng temp visa e yun e kung talagang magiging tourist ka lang, mapapatunayan mo na babalik ka at meron kang funds to show that youre capable to travel.. madali lang process at di mo na need ng representative. I applied last May 2022 and got approved Sept 2022

Tourist visa pero marami ang nagbabalak mag trabaho at kumuha kayo ng serbisyo ng agency para magawan ng paraan makapasok sa canada. May napanood ako video nuon tungkol sa daan daan chinese naman na iisa ang address na tutuluyan ang inilagay nila kaya nagduda ang imberstigador.

you don't need travel agent..countries like Canada, USA, etc have very detailed and easy to follow visa or immigration procedures kung ire-research or aaralin mo lang mabuti lalo na kung legit ang tourist visa application mo...kaso obvious na hindi tourism ang purpose nyo eh kaya sa isip nyo kelangan nyo nang agent para mafabricate ang reason nyo for tourist visa.

Hindi kelangan dumaan sa travel agent para mag apply ng tourist visa to Canada. Ayan tuloy, naisahan at naloko kayo. Iisang template ang ginamit sa itinerary, di naman nyo ka-anu-ano ang isa't-isa, bistado tuloy.

Kahit matapos na yong ban nila, di pa rin sure kung pagbibigyan pa rin sila immigatiin sa canada, yon ang masaklap.

Yan kasi gusto shortcut para makapag hanap ng trabaho. kahit makakuha sila ng work visa, may gastos parin yan pag kailangan i-renew mismo every 2 years (9-10k cad). Matagal rin ang process pag kukuha ng work permit habang nasa Pinas pa. may nakilala ako ritong pinoy under tourist visa pero nag ttrabaho under the table. Buntis pa naman misis niya at napagastos sila ng 13k cad pagkatapos niya manganak dahil tourist lang sila at hinde sila PR/Citizen. For sure nag duda ang canadian immigration dahil sa pag fill up ng form at anong states ang pupuntahan nila na hinde naman tourist locations (Saskatchewan, manitoba etc)

Ilang beses na ako pumunta sa Canada, since 32 yrs old ako, kasi nandun mga parents ko, na ako mismo nag aayos ng papers ko, without consulting any immigration agency, no problem akong naencounter, basta legal na tourist ka lang at kita ng embassy na hindi ka mag ooverstay dun. Maximum stay ko dun ay 4 months at hindi ako nagtrabaho dun.

Yung sinasabi ng babae sa last part ng video it means mag tatrabaho talaga siya hindi tourist lang. Kaya yun banned obvious naman ang mga rason nila. Akala nila pareho lang sa Thailand or hk ang Canada hindi mga ma'am and sir.

Parehas lang din yan sa situation na nahaharang sa NAIA ng mga Immigration, tourist ang visa pa UAE & other Asian countries pero ang purpose eh mag walk in applicant which is prone na ma abuso.

Dapat pag-aralan mabuti ang batas ng Canadian immigration, hindi kasi tumatanggap ng kotong ang immigration workers, eh kung gago ang travel agent, kahit ano na lang ang ilalagay sa dokumento

May iba kasi dyan gumagamit ng agency para makakuha ng visa kasi may iba silang agenda bukod sa pagiging tourist. I know some people who did the same thing pero luckily nakalusot sila.

Pwdi nman kayong mag apply na huwag na kayong mag agency...peniperahan lng kayo ng mga agency..isa pa alam naman ninyo sumunod sa mga requirements documents at alam ninyo ang mga bawal....

Kung tourist visa lang naman pala, why still use a travel agent? For UK, Schengen, US, Aus/NZ, much better to apply personally para direct ang communication sa Visa Officer (Embassy). Hindi tulad ng travel agent na hindi sasabihin sa inyo yung communications nila with the Embassy.

I always asked my travel agent to arrange my trips, there is nothing wrong with that, the issue is, hindi tour ang intention nila but to stAy illegally in canada. So tama lang na na banned sila

I suggest DIY application, para mas may control kayo sa application nyo. And bago nyo i-submit, you can double/triple check. And if you’re still not satisfied, there’s a lot of forums to ask. Ang laki pa ng matitipid nyo and you have access to your application and updates 24x7. Ang masakit nyan baka mas educated pa kayo sa mga naglalakad ng papel nyo. Karamihan din dyan sa mga consulting agency, copy and paste lang ginagawa nyan, hence the duplication of your narratives. I feel sorry sa nangyari sa inyo, and ang mabigat is yung 5 year ban because of misrepresentation

Ngayon naka banned na kayo sa Canada, expect Hindi na kayo maka pasok sa iba pang Commonwealth countries like Australia, New Zealand, UK and Ireland, dahil they shares immigration computer information.

D nya dapat sabihin na may 7 yrs old siyang anak at Canada inaasahan nya kaya naka hint sa immigration na d visitor visa plan nya.

And why is the travel agent applying for their visa? While you can appoint a representative to look after correspondence with IRCC it does not absolve the applicant from making sure all documents presented are truthful and factual. Advice lang po mga kabayan, in Canada, YOU must take responsibility and ownership of your own affairs, whether education, career, etc. walang shortcut dito.

Ang tanong ko diyan, pupunta kayo ng Canada as tourists pero mag trabaho kayo? Di ba misrepresentation yan? Kaya kayo na ban siguro dahil nalaman nila na may intention kayo magtrabaho duon -- e visitor visa lang kayo. If your real intention is to visit the country as a tourist, unless you're part of a tour group, why would you let the agent create your travel itinerary??? Parang ang pakay nyo talaga eh magtrabaho dun eh. Dapat ang headline ng video na to ay "Ilang Pinoy na balak magtrabaho sa Canada binawi ang visitor visa dahil sa misrepresentasyon" Kaya hirap mag apply ang mga legitimate na pinoy turista eh dahil sa mga TNT

One of them said “ I’m a single mom, yon lang talaga ang inaasahan ko, yong Canada lang” ..what is she implying? Isn’t she coming here as a tourist..?!. I applied a visitor visa for my mom and did it all by myself online. Luckily she got multiple entry for 10 years.

D mo rin masisi ang immigration sa decision na i ban cla kasi na mataan na cguro yong mga plano nila. Kawawa din. Dapat talaga legal ang pagpasok at intension nyo as a tourist.

Baka yung ilang aplikante nag resign sa trabaho after mabigyan ng tourist visa then later tinawagan ng Canadian embassy yung former employer nila. Red flag kasi yun na most likely magtatrabaho sila sa Canada. At isa pa dahil sa daming student visa holders na nakarating sa Canada on fake college admission letters na dumaan sa mga agencies sa India kaya suspicious na rin sila sa kahit sinong aplikante na dumaan sa mga agency.
