I've been watching a few of these _IL2 Tank Crew_ vids and after 25 years of gaming on PCs at last someones decided to make a decent tank sim. There've been some _good_ tank games, with some half decent modelled tanks but never a brilliant one, until now...we hope. _IL2 Tank Crew_ is getting better and better in its early access. I hope that it develops and delivers into _the_ definitive tank sim that we've all been waiting so long for! This latest soviet crew update looks very good, keep up the great work Dev-team and I might purchase this title when it goes gold. 💯💨✨💨👍

True 👍, not many tank simulator games are avaible, only Graviteam games (Steel Fury, Steel Armor), Esim Games Steel Beasts and now Sturmovik.

@@therandomheretek5403 I've seen a KV1 getting its fuel tanks and hausers blown off by a Panzer III. Shell splash damage is visible, apart from that...not sure. Geoweb35 should know...💥😵

And Gaijin said "It is too difficult to model the inside of tanks" Meanwhile this is happening...what's Gaijin up to? Modern tanks, air to air missiles, and helicopters.

@@Taco577 Bradleys, warriors and BMPs carrying troops can be used to capture points, decrease rapair time both you and ally and can cripple the tank by destroying the tracks, engine or the gun barrel

War thunder apparently has infantry again while we have a supposed tank simulator with none. All the buttons work except their is nothing to fire at.

In am very pleased with the progress since I got it a couple months ago. I just hope they make the exterior damage models a bit better *cough* actual entry and exit holes *cough.* But so far everything is great and just with some tweaks to the controls and the addition of everything said on the store page it'll be great. (Also really hoping for that KV-2 since a lot of people voted on it in the forums.)

the driver controls are wrong, when the steering controls are all the way forward their track’s speed depends on the gear knob. putting the steering sticks to the half way point puts both tracks in neutral, and pulling it all the way back enables the individual track’s brake. This stuff is on wikipedia idk why they missed it

I want to see in this game binoculars for tank commander, triplex zoomed views to locate enemy on battlefield from tank interior without using external camera F2, campaigns, Tiger II, KV-2, we see in the future how this game progress, now is ok.

@@Geoweb35 I feel like a Tiger II would be completely overpowered. It's armor was almost impenetrable from the front even against the most powerful guns on any tank, and the 88mm gun the Tiger II mounted was capable of killing any tank out there at a couple miles. Against T-34s and KV-1s, the Tiger II would be almost unbeatable.

This looks like its shaping up to be a very good sim. My only caveat is that they are not planning to add AI infantry. To me that eliminates a huge dimension of any accurate armor warfare sim. Why even bother simulating antipersonal weapons like MGs if the player wont get to effectively use it?

@@CharlesConover actually I just rewatched the KV-I vid. I think I actually saw a MG crew firing from cover in a wooded area. The tank crew took them out with the coaxial MG and one of them even tried to run off. It actually was pretty impressive considering Tank crew is still in alpha.

Is early acces in sturmovik website now, when the game is finished will be avaible also in Steam store as a DLC for IL-2 Sturmovik BOS game, if you buy it from Sturmovik website you can link Sturmovik account with your Steam account via game menu and you have all sturmovik games in one game.

You can play Tank Crew early acces without IL2 BOS game, IL-2 BOS game is required if you wait for Tank Crew steam version.

@creapsmantic Yes, BoS is considered "base game" in Steam, rest of the titles are DLC

Where's the turret basket? Look at all the hard points in front of the driver. The turret is a nightmare. This machine is dangerous to the crew, but with a few tweaks it'll be a killer.

But not like this and if the battlefield 5 has reailstic tank every tank in the game have to play four or more player ! In war thunder you opperate multiple peoples. But this view is a usefull feuture. Not deatiled as in this video but you can see the controls the panels and the optics inside ! As well the cannon and the targeting system. It was bring a new gamemode the game. The simulator. When you have to be extremly hardcore gamer to play in this gamemode.

2:19 good to see they have seatbelts on 😂 btw the body movement is nonexistent. The tank is trundling along and there’s no upper body movement in the crew. Even Steel Fury models that brilliantly and with soldiers sitting on the tanks themselves. More debris please. Your shooting soft body jeeps and trucks. Bits of them should be blown sky high and off to the sides with HE. Damage model is crap on those vehicles 😞 27:03 repeats the same track damage on both tanks

@@renamed_user1703 смысл в том, что тут стремятся показать реализм графония. А в реальных условиях в т34 после 5-6 выстрелов в башне было очень жесткое задымление. Тут этого не видно. Надеюсь объяснил

A bit of history. The T34 had a robust diesel engine, nearly all German and American tanks had petrol engines. Diesel engines were far more reliable and suffered limited breakdowns, diesel oil is also less prone to combustion, its less flammable than petrol octane. T34's did not erupt into balls of flame like Shermans did when they were hit. The T34 was a very reliable tank during WWII, the Soviet tank crews revered this tank, it was highly manoeuvrable, had adequate firepower and great protection with its sloped armor...that initially amazed and shocked the Germans! It was superior against the Panzer III's at the start of Operation Barbarossa and the Germans had to rapidly create new tanks i.e the Panther in order to compete against it. 💥😱💨💯

The Geezer out of curiosity: how does disel compare with petrol when it comes to acceleration? Also, T-34-41 is NOT superior to Panzer III. Military History Visualized did a video on that. T-34-41 to Panzer III is like Panther to Sherman.

@@thomaszhang3101 Diesel has more torque (more power) than petrol for a start. Acceleration is not a requirement of a tank, only a sports car! I think you will find that the T34/85 was a superior tank to the Panzer III and stood up quite well to the Panther. The T34/76 was quite superior to the Panzer III. Firepower, protection and mobility were much better. Panzer III only had 57mm cannon T34 had 76mm, speaks for itself!

The Geezer acceleration is absolutely important for a tank, I will say even more so than top speed. A tank must fire and move fire and move, etc. the faster it can move after firing, the harder target it becomes. My concern with diesel tank is exactly that. Otherwise, I find Diesel’s 50% efficiency more attractive compared to petrol’s 30% efficiency. IMO, petrol is preferred for performance if the country *cough* Germany *cough* does not lack fuel.

Petrol engines for tanks also had reliability issues as far as i know, both engines are maintenance heavy though and diesel engines are more expensive. Using diesel also means that it is not necessary to separate the fighting compartment and the fuel tanks with thick steel walls and the fuel tanks can offer additional protection if they are full. For example most ww2 era soviet tanks had their crew compartment surrounded by diesel fuel tanks, while tanks with petrol engines like the sherman or the panzer 4 had their fuel tanks concentrated around the engine compartment and generally around the rear of the tank. Almost every modern tank that doesnt use a gas turbine uses a diesel engine, and similarly to tanks like the t-34, fuel tanks are placed all around the crew. Some tanks with gas turbines like the abrams uses fuel tanks as additional protection aswell, however the fuel tank is separated from the crew by a relatively thick steel wall because the jet fuel is highly flammable.

Почему 76мм снаряды такие огромные и похожи на 85мм!!!

Очень сырой продукт! Нет нормальной баллистики,снаряд ведет себя одинаково что к танкам противника что к легкобронированной технике,нет пехоты нет анимации экипажа,нет терраформинга карты очень скудные на флору и фауну в общем много можно продолжать...)

@@TheGeezzer я это знаю! Просто показывают одно и тоже,что Тигр что КВ-1С,лучше над разрушаемостю техники поработали над полигонами сражений а то ровные как доска чем показывать езду и стрельбу.
