☃️written patterns:
~beanie~
Chain 46
Crochet 25 rows in one color & 25 rows in another
~magic circle beanie~
Make magic circle,
Chain 12 dc into magic circle
Increase in each
Increase in every other
Increase into every 3rd stitch
Increase into every 4th
Increase into every 5th
Increase into every 6th
Increase into every 15th
Dc into everything no increase for as long as you want the hat to be (10 rows)
~balaclava~
Make a magic circle , DC 12 in circle.
Increase for 8 rows (until increasing into every 8th stitch row is done)
4 rows of DC or until hat reaches your eyebrows
Try on the hat and mark with stitch markers where you want the eye hole to start at (on both sides of head, 1 inch away from eyes). OR take a measurement of where you want the hat to start and stop for the eye hole and mark where that measurement is with both stitch markers
Count the stitches in between the two sides. ( 27 stitches in between)
Crochet until you reach the first stitch marker, then crochet into the stitch marker and then chain the number that you counted that was between the two sides, making one extra chain.
Crochet into the second stitch marker
Work your way around crocheting, even in the chain that was made earlier
crocheting until the hat reaches your chin (11 rows no increasing)
Ways to end:
Start decreasing for 4 rows (after 7, after 6, after 4, after 3)
At the end, chain 12 and then make a ribbing for the bottom of the hat, skipping a stitch whenever it reaches the hat to make it tighter.
~cat beanie~
Chain 80 and join into round
Make 17 rows of any color combo in the round until it fits. Then close up the top.
To make the ears longer/taller - make the beanie longer and then use a darning needle to sew diagonally under the ears to pull them tighter, making the ear pop out more. Make sure you sew through both sides of the hat. You can even stuff it before you sew it.
~beret~
Make magic ring & 12 DC
Increase in all
Increase in every other
Increase into every 3rd
Continue until increase into every 10th is done (row 11)
DC every for 2 rows (row 12& 13)
Decrease into 9th
Decrease into 8th
Decrease into 4th
Chain one, & single crochet into each for 4 rows
Chain one, slip stitch row, end.
If adding a ribbing, don’t do single crochet part, instead separately make a ribbing and then sew it onto the beret

Hello everyone! I have some information here that I forgot to put into the video + extra info: ~ I have all the patterns written in the description!!!! ~Sorry for a lot of it being out of focus, for some reason while i’m filming it looks like it’s in focus but then when I go to edit, it’s completely blurry. I’ll try to be extra careful in future videos ~ Again, my head circumference is 21 ½ inches (55cm), and my hat length is 8 inches (20cm). The hats may come out looser than usual if you’re following the tutorials to a T, due to me enjoying a looser fit hat so I can fit it over my hair when it’s not braided. ~ I use a 5mm hook for everything. For the chunky cat beanie, I used a 10mm hook. The yarn used for everything is in the description. I didn’t link the colors though (besides the chunky cat beanie) because a lot of the yarn I have is pretty old and I’m not sure what colors they are exactly. I only used one skein of yarn for everything, however I did run out of yarn for the balaclava and the chunky cat beanie so I recommend you buy two skeins for those specific projects. ~ For the beanie, it’s a total of 50 rows. ~ For the magic circle beanie, it’s a total of 19 rows ~ For the balaclava, it’s a total of 25 rows ~ For the cat beanie, it’s a total of 17 rows ~ For the beret, it’s a total of 20 rows ~ For the beret the measurements are as follows: The top of the beret after doing the increases should be 11 ½ inches. The body of the beret, which is the two rows of crocheting with no increases should be 2 ½ inches. The ribbing (the decreases) is 1 ½ inches - making the total hat circumference 23 inches ~ Thank you for watching and supporting me, it’s appreciated way more than you know 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Ummm i love the tutorial so much, thank you for making it, but I'm having a problem with the increases of the beret because for each row i inrease, the top half starts to feel wobbly and it doesn't have the hat-like shape like yours, so it's kinda flat. I'm using half double crochet because of my wool type, so could you please help me out here?
its actually insane how well structured/made this video is, the quality is getting so high I'm sure these will blow up
I love how aesthetic your voice and videos are. everything is so clear cut and easy to follow for those that are using this for a tutorial and guide. I love this so much and I love your channel.

aww I'm glad you've started learning -- it's super fun and I definitely will!
23:33 the small loop is actually the slip stitch you made to join the round so by increasing in it you're ending up with more stitches than you should. In this case it doesn't really matter but if you're making a cylinder for example (amigurumi legs, arms) you'll be adding 1 stitch each round so instead of being a straight cylinder it'll flare out progressively. This is just info I don't intend to critique the video, in fact I liked it very much
I love your videos I love to crochet when I watch your videos all the time!
honestly thanks so much for sharing this with us!!!
This was soooo helpful!! I’m going to use the beret one to make a loc sock I’ve been looking everywhere for a good tutorial 🫶🏽

Hey I wanted to ask about the beanie, did you follow the 50 rows or make it different? If so how many inch or cm for total of the 2 squares?
i love this vid and i learned the other stitches so fast but the magic circle is so hard🥲
@ikoxun
Жыл бұрын
keep trying! another way i’ve heard that’s easier is if you chain 4, slip stitch into the first chain, and then chain 3 in the middle of the circle you just created and start adding double crochets into that same circle. try that and see if it helps
i love the new moon poster and fairly oddparents reference haha. also thank you for posting such a great tutorial! just finished my first crochet project ever (a cat beanie my friend taught me) and am v excited to use this vid to make a reg beanie next :)
Thanks! Awesome tutorials very talented, young lady!

Such an amazing video ! Thank you so much
I have watched so many crochet videos…SOOOOO MANY…and why are you the first one who said the most relatable thing about how annoying it is to work in the foundation chain. 😂
I finished the beanie it's so cute thanks sm
If you want a less loose beret here’s a vague pattern! Magic circle 6 single crochets Increase x6 1sc & inc 2sc & inc 3sc & inc Repeat until circumference of the top of you head (eg. 4sc inc and so on) 3 rows of sc (no increases) Sc the number of stitches you had between your increases eg. 18 sc then inc ➡️18sc then decrease Repeat until you have around half of the number of stitches you had between the last increase rows eg 18sc then dec stop at 9sc then dec 1 normal row of sc (no increases or decreases) Slip stitch to join the fasten off! Note: don’t join with a slip stitch after every round, instead work in a spiral and mark the first stitch of every round!
this is literally my go-to crochet inspo account
não consigo bem explicar como eu amo o seu canal. é tudo tão organizado e bom de assistir.. você tem me ajudado muito com meus primeiros trabalhos de choche.
i made the beret under 2 day! thx for posting this tutorial
I find that doing a slip not with the second color and then putting the loop in my hook makes changing colors just a bit easier
this is literally just what i needed, tysm!! my friend recently bought me 3 skeins of yarn for my birthday and i've been looking for some projects to do :))

Adding these hats to my list
I just wanted to say thank you for this easy and understandable tutorial. My mother was diagnosed with skin cancer and I wanted to make her a hat in case she lost her hair to chemotherapy. Unfortunately we couldn't go through with chemo since her liver had shut down so the hat was the last gift she received before she passed.
Very good tutorial! Tysm!
Absolutely grateful for this video love the hats definitely trying them out! Also The second I saw the twilight poster on your wall I knew I had to click that subscribe button 😍
Stan ur content
I would love a tutorial for a cowboy hat, the one pattern I was eyeing was taken down from esty and I’ve always wanted to make one
Love those hats
Every thing else is very beautiful ❤️
Great work and tutorial thank you. About the chaining then doing your dcs or hdcs. Check out the foundation stitch where you do the chain and hdc or chain and dc at the same time
Thank you so much for these tutorials! I absolutely LOVE the Beret hat!
(me commenting so late! im new to this channel tho only watched my first video like a week ago) something i noticed is that after you measure your head circumference and subtract a few inches you might want to add a chain or two because when you slip stitch it you can lose a round or two in hat circumference
I’ve never heard of a magic circle beanie before so I was interested
The video was so helpful thank u
I love your videos!
THESE ARE ALL SUPER CUTE🥺🥹
hi! i’ve just recently discovered your channel, and i’m absolutely loving your content so far. i was planning on making the beret in this video, and i was wondering if you had a written pattern for the second beret showed (the one under “other variations”?) is it just a difference in the ribbing? i’ve been experimenting with berets lately and i feel like that style would suit me best out of all the beret patterns i’ve tried. if it’s too much work to try and write out the pattern from scratch, that’s alright! tysm for making such good content
i began crocheting recently and i dont do it often because sometimes figuring things out as a beginner is overwhelming. this video is super helpful :) thanks sm! also, your tension is super consistent. looks awesome
can you make a part two? i love your videos ❤
