When it comes to iKON, you'll never know what genre to expect since they go from kHiphop to Kpop and anything in between. But mostly ballad since Hanbin, their leader who's no longer with the group write really poetic lyrics. the first Song is their first comeback without Hanbin's participation after his departure from the group. iKON said that it's for their fans but it sounds more like a song dedicated to Hanbin. Their Goodbye to Hanbin. The 2nd Song was their first Comeback without Hanbin but Hanbin participated in writing all (except one) of the songs in iDECIDE Era. The last song was the last Song Hanbin participated in both recording and writing. The first half of the song is about life the 2nd is about love. It has many symbolisms. Bobby writes his parts in most iKON songs so In Bobby's part the TVs also represents Bobby's popularity as the Winner of SMTM and basically their life as idols. That their smiles in front of the camera, the one we see in our screen can be the opposite of what they really are. The empty chairs in Yunhyeong's part represents the fans who left them. The luggage are the emotional baggage they bring along with them to the point that they pile up and they needed to be knocked down. What's impressive about them is they don't just write lyrics but they also participate in producing. LOVE SCENARIO won best prod of the year and the award went to iKON and not YGE. Hanbin Produced their last album before his departure from the group.

iKON is *that* Kpop group that gives me hope in the industry...😭💖 Most groups nowadays focus sooo much on performance, choreo, trying to create a bombastic video and songs that are just BAAM with lyrics that are more of an afterthought 💁‍♂ Not to say those are bad, cuz those strong ass vibez are relevant sometimes and puts you in a fighting/gambateh vibe, but as humans, we experience more complex emotions IRL That's why I admire groups like iKON who release music meant to tug at your heartstrings, or songs that are meant to played in the background while you ponder about life, 🤕or even stirring up emotions you never knew you had bottled up inside of you... I swear YG groups will forever have a special place in Kpop and that's cuz of their understanding that music - though constantly evolving - should at all times and across all generations, be able to tell stories~~

iKON is my favorite boy group. Though they haven't been the same without BI, iKon is still so amazing. They're well respected in the industry but sadly too underrated. Bobby, the rapper, came in late in Why Why Why because right before this comeback, he was promoting as a solo. It was to signify that tho Bobby was active as a soloist, he's still a part of iKON.

One of the kpop group who have the bestest lyrics...their b-side tracks are way more beautiful than their title tracks...like this group I really spend lot of money...like super lot of money but Its super worth it...

iKON can do many genres, they're so talented and people even their fans should talk more about that!

this is so random but i’m one of the few people who enjoy watching both ikon and treasure videos 🙋🏻‍♀️ also, if you read through the comment section of i’m ok you’ll see a lot of people sharing their stories or thoughts about the song, even though some aren’t fans! the song was just so good and so relatable it’s basically a whole masterpiece. hanbin and bobby’s lyricism are over the roof the best 😌

Bobby parts is my fave. The lyrics on his rap really hits hard. For Jay’s part, I think the empty bottles represents “empty promises”.

I also would say the empty plastic bottles and bags kinda represent that he’s full of nothingness. He’s feeling empty. And the wall of luggage with DK kinda can be him trying to get through carrying a lot of emotional baggage and not being able to deal with it.

I’m ok got me through my mom’s death. The lyrics can apply to so many situations. When Hanbin was forced to leave, I kept playing this song, thinking how he felt. I hope you’ll do a guide so you get to know them, I think that will help you as well. They are worth it. They are very similar in many ways to Monsta X, whom both you and I love, so you stanning iKON too is inevitable I think, lol

I’m OK is one of my favorites. What’s special about iKON is that even though they’re mostly showcased as a hiphop, performer group, they’re so much more than that. They could also compose these phenomenal songs that will tug at people’s hearts. They’ve been writing songs way before they even debuted and YG have them a lot of creative freedom. B.I was such a great leader and iKON has been stronger for it. Check out Climax (the original performance from Who is Next), Apology and Flower.

Bobby the main rapper was not in the first part of choreography this happened because the preparations of this cb overlapped with the preparations and promotions of his 2nd solo album at that time not to mention they werr simultaneously preparing for kingdom too (i know smh for yg's poor management) so they opted on inserting him in the middle part of the choreo so it wouldnt be much of a hassle for him catching up. Lyricism is one of the strongest suit of iKON. Hanbin, their former😭 leader even won Songwriter of the year in 2018, the youngest and the only idol to do so. Please dive more into their discography. I'm so happy that you've reacted to iKON. Once you have started watching one group from YG, you'll end up liking all the groups. There's something diffrent about YG Artists aura and charisma that you can't find to other groups. Like what happened to me, i started stanning bp, then treasure, then ikon and bigbang and winner 2ne1 and akmu too. And if you'll know what happened to ikon you will definitely love the group with all of their struggles. But I'm so happy that they are still in the industry

It is correct that you may be confused during Why, Why, Why. This is a song after B.I left the group so there is only 6 members. Also the first part of the song includes all but Bobby and then he comes in on his rap part through the endo of the song. I believe it was a bit symbolic as he had just released a solo album but showed he would always come back to the group. (His solo stuff is top tier, fyi).

I suggest react to their b-sides as well so you can see their more of their sides. iKON and Winner are supposed to be taking steps of what Bigbang's concept has but YG gave them full responsibility to produce their own song as they want to grow on their own music. this is what winner and ikon has to suffer from pressure and expectations of people that giving to them. people expected them to be "HIPHOP" as YG label's concept. that's why their debut is something similar to YG typical concept which is iKON's Rhythm Ta which was a slow hiphop beat and Winner's Color Ring and (the other one, i forgot the title song) which ballad mixing with hiphop that close to Bigbang concept. and years past, they starting to go in the different path which they were leading to make their own identity as a group. that's why Winner and iKON has different song genre from time to time because they were experimenting and finding their own identity even tho both of them were facing a lot of backlash back then saying that they weren't deserve to be part of YG group. and by finding their own identity, they became well known after that. just like Winner get viral after their song, REALLY REALLY and Love scenario of iKON. which those time, company rejected love scenario but BI (the creator of this huge hit song) submitted again for the second time. and the song got accepted. The song itself, is not about having a huge hit but also make them realize their own identity. from reckless teenage young iKON debut to grown up iKON, now.
