It would have been great to have an alternate angry head with eye beams and energy effects for hands.

A first-rate review of Ikaris and his accessories!

Sometimes a character that never interested me in comics gets an action figure so cool that I just have to get it. This Ikarus definitely fits the bill. Thanks for the great review. 👍

Read up on some early Eternals comics or character appearances pre 2015. You might aquire an interest, especially with the great likeness to source of this particular Legends figure.

For my taste,this head sculpt would be better suited as a Doc Samson. Perhaps on that new Luke Cage 2 pack body. Regardless of my opinion, this is a very well done Ikaris. It will be interesting to see how many customers just wanted Zabu and how many wanted Ikaris as well. I’m patient enough to wait a calendar sales year to find out if you are. Nice review, take care.

Thanks for the review! This figure looks great! I know it can’t happen bc it’s under the DC license but this makes me want to see hasbro do a line of Kirby’s Fourth World characters

Upper arms are also reuse. They're Strucker's retooled pinless Spidey UK arms. To me, the UK limbs looks skinny with this torso. I think Vulcan arms and legs would've been better.

Looks pretty good. I only really know the Eternals from a John Romita Jnr graphic novel where they're reborn. I agree he needs energy effects though it's great that he has two sets of hands. I would like Hasbro to Look at Jada's Street Fighter figs. Better articulation setup and range of movement, plus softer material on some of the clothing.

Management must like that character because much more effort went into the figure. Another head with eyebeams is the only thing, I would have preferred. The pinless lookd better, but when both elbows joints are used it looks weird, as do the shoulders being low and smaller than the biceps. Have been getting Legends here and there and mostly female with the new larger bodies. Will grab Ikaris at regular retail with no hesitation. Have watched your other Legends reviews and always found to be very thorough and informative.

I know I’m a little late to the party here, this is the first marvel, legends figure that I’ve ordered/bought since 2018. I’m less into Marvel than I used to be, but I still like the diamond select figures and I’m still into classic marvel a bit. I read the first few issues of the original Eternals books before the movie came out and would like to read the rest soon. The comic book designs are leaps and bounds better than the movie. I really would like to see this figure do well so they could continue to do the classic jack Kirby Eternals cast like sersi, thena, Ajax, kro, etc.

A Sentry headswap might be a good idea.

No, that Ikaris head looks perfect on Ka-zar body. It looks especially well when you get a four-point crossbody chest plate with a boxy cross design at the center of it......

Is the lower hip skirt piece the same as the MCU version?

Legends not coming with effect pieces is always such a major misstep. They always say this line is for kids, but omitting those effects immediately kills any sense of imagination for them. When I was a kid, all I had to go off of for a character was their bio card on the back and the accessories they came with. That was enough for me to know what kind of person they were and what they could do. The creativity of a child will fill in the rest, but you've got to give them something to work with. Seeing a figure like Ikaris or Vulcan on the shelf, I would've had no idea what to do with them and thus would've had zero interest in buying him.

Indeed. And the action gimmicks. As a kid, I might imagine Ikaris shoots his hands off since he comes with spares 😂

Great lookiing jack Kirby design figure but poor leg articulations . . Hasbro could have done better with the figures lower body articulations for a near perfectly good looking figure with good articulations in its upper body . Come on Hasbro . I hope in the future that can be fixed . Very awesome looking figure but that is no excuse for its lower legs articulations its 2024 . In My opinion .

This is what the ' eternals ' meant to me. Jack Kirby' s crazy, insane designs!!! This is why the movie failed. They did designs they considered relevant but were crap!💩

They did a Power Rangers look for them, but also made a trash Ikaris plot twist, wasted the potential of one of the best characters of Eternals, just to fill a quote.

The movie failed because you can't Top Endgame with paint by #s Cast.
