IJN Aircraft Carrier Akagi 赤城 1942 Fujimi 1/700

Imperial Japanese Navy Aircraft Carrier Akagi 赤城 (Red Castle), named after Mount Akagi in Gunma Prefecture. She participated in the attack on Pearl Harbor, December 1941. Eventually, she was sunk during the Battle of Midway, 5 June 1942. However, Akagi was discovered in October 2019 by the late Paul G. Allen's deep sea research vessel RV Petrel.

Really nice job on the model. I used to have a model of the Akagi but I left it in the same room as my Enterprise model and the next day it was gone.
Very Nice Build of small detail. I could use your discarded superstructure, I lost one of mine. Maybe I get PE kit as work around.
Very nice, especially the black wash on the wooden deck. But the Wooden deck for hasegawa can fit on fujimi kits without any problem? And are the PE parts specifically for this fujimi kits?

Thank you ! it does not fit actually, I had to cut it because the hasegawa wooden deck looks longer than fujimi. I recommend to use fujimi wooden deck and do not be like me :’) yes, fujimi provides special PE for Akagi but the price is too expensive to me lol

You can actually get Akagi & Kaga in a twin pack kit. As I have, was reasonably priced.
very good and nice but do you have a link to where to get those extra aircraft kit cause i would love to buy them

What are your thoughts on the mr. dissolved putty? Is it easy to sand? I’m debating between getting that or mixing Tamiya putty with thinner.

i think mr dissolved putty is much easier to sand compare to Tamiya putty XD
