thank you so so much for doing this! i haven't made a caw since smackdown vs raw days and i've been meaning to get back into it now with the import face tool, this tutorial is super detailed and i haven't quite finished yet but i'm sure it will help me a lot. i'm also dead because i'm using jhene aiko as my base for my caw and all of a sudden i hear her come on in the background music of the video. we love taste!

Excellent tutorial, very helpful. I suggest lowering your background music volume though, as it made it hard to hear what you were saying at times.

Thanks for this video I've been struggling so much with the edges of the faces not being blended in... this will apply to 2k19 as well

Jay Li find a good base color to add in the back, so when you smudge it just transitions

Is there anyway you can send me the face scan you cropped?

I'm curious how long the image uploader is supported for older games. Can it still be used after the next years game comes out? Or do they cut support at that point?

I’m not sure, I know the 2K18 online server is still up so maybe the image uploader is.

@@marcie9734 I was thinking of picking up an older version of the game on discount but I would hate to not have the option to upload a picture into the game. I imagine the picture uploader will be available as long as the online server is but then again maybe not. It seems like the nba 2k18 gameface app is already gone, though I never could get it to work anyway.

My problem is the face having boxed edges, or the eyes spreading back to the ears... it never balances out. My 2k18 has about 40 of the same faces attempting to fix it, and none of them work.

Steven McKinney you can always shrink the facial features in the circle so more skin color shows and the face won’t stretch far

I would suggest taking a picture of you in neutral lighting and lifting it a little in a photo editor

xoMarciexo I’ve tried doing different methods since wwe 2k17 I just can’t seem to make it work it’s so much easier on white people or professional photos from google selfies are difficult

Okay, you're probably experiencing that problem because after you paste your face i your eclipse tool, you have to deselect from that outer circle becuase its only going to blend and smudge within your eclipse. SO you want to click on he outer white layer of your picture so the lines around the eclipse tool will dissappear and then you just blend outward from the face into the base color as I did in the video
