Iguana gets a Bath

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Dredd is shedding and hasn't been for a dip in over two weeks. Give him a nice warm Bath (no soap, Just water) to get rid of excess skin and soften up his claws for trimming.

I'll say this I got blue iguana month in November 28 of this year an I let her get used to her new cage for maybe week to week half if that then I started petting her an started picking her up. So I'd do least week let him or her get settled then start petting an holding.

@@thebigdabba6413 If you choose to work with them and spend time with them, they can be a puppy. Well that’s my experience with my adult girl

Ain’t that water too deep? I’ve been looking at videos and websites to bathe this iguana I adopted from a teacher, it had been a class pet for years and isn’t used to being free ranged or picked up, and all of them say the water should be shallow to thier chest. Does it not actually matter?

If you are cautious and the iguana is under constant uninterrupted supervision the water depth doesn't really matter, this guy is holding his iguana up somewhat too so that helps, but it is safest to have the water be shallow to their chest
