I've had one of your stoves for 2 years now and we use it daily for 6 plus months out of the year. Our ignitor went out and I kinda panicked. After calling they sent me a new one and I had it in 2 days! It was an absolute piece of 🎂 cake to install and it was running like new 15 mins later! In all my 36 years I've never had a product that was so solid and worked so darn well. Period!

I just received my hp22i insert and I have been getting familiar with all the parts and inspecting the stove to get accustomed to where everything is. I notice that my igniter is not visible when looking inside the pot, I can barely see it even when crouching down to look inside the chamber where the igniter sits. It is definitely not within a 1/2inch from rhe opening, more like an inch or more in. Do oti suggest I adjust it and push it forward more to be within the 1/5inch spec?? Thanks. Also, I have not used the stove yet as I just received it. I still need the pipe kit.

My HP21 keeps blowing the main power switch fuse when I run the Ignition start. I swapped the fuse and started again but it just keeps blowing. Replace igniter or perform different troubleshooting?

My second igniter just gave out. Unfortunately this replacement part is turning out to be an annual purchase for me.

My stove will not fire, pellet fell into burn pot but won't fire up. Igniter is red hot. Is it a weak igniter and I should replace it.

If the igniter is turning red, then it should have enough heat energy to start a pellet fire. The most likely scenario is limited vacuum pressure or airflow. Check out our limited airflow video for troubleshooting steps, or call our tech support line.

What does it mean if the limit bubble shaded?

The Limit bubble refers to the Hopper Lid Switch. When this is shaded, it means the hopper lid is closed.

We do not support King stoves, but it sounds likely to be the circuit board.

From my experience, I find that the start-up is much smoother if the igniter is not touching the cylinder that it sits in. My bro science skills think maybe the cylinder heats up with direct contact from the ingniter and causes other metals to heat up too much. Anyway, the igniter is very accessible and you can adjust it to make sure it sits in there centered. Hope this helps!
