This is the natural course that MythBusters should've taken. They would stick to myths. Eventually, when Jamie and Adam retired, Kari, Grant and Tory would become the main hosts with a junior team supporting them. Then, eventually, the junior team would take over, and another junior team would take its place. This format could allow the show to go on almost indefinitely. But Discovery didn't do that. They decided to milk the cow dry while the sun was shining, thus leaving no viewership left for a successful resurrection of the show.

Those kids will or already have rocked the world because this kind of lessons for life are priceless. And also for all Kinds or Adults watching these episodes gives a huge amount of learning. I like it a lot.

one the best things about mythbusters jr it was just out right fun to watch . these young folks took part in a show that was nothing short of the mad scientist show or in there case mad scientist jr sho . the way they used out of the box thinking to come up with novel ways to solve problems was great . it scucks theye only recived one season

I wonder if the pandemic had something to do with this.

I remember seeing something similar to this happening when Kari Grant and Tory tested this way back in the day but the story never made it to air because it was too short and they confirmed it too early

Maybe the electric spark inside the car isn't so hot as a lighter-flame, and so the vapor wasn't ignited by it?

In the "dog shaking off water" tests, I hope that they remembered to wipe the shaken-off water from the scale, so that it didn't get re-weighed along with the dog, causing an inaccurately-high weight-reading...?

I thought the same, but since they're working with such rough margins, it probably doesn't matter much. The amount the dog drips before weighing is probably ten times as significant, also not controlled for :)

@ 26:28 as with all dogs... A true shake off weight would B achieved better if U wiped off as much shake;... shed water off the scale surface B4 U took your final dog weight...

Maybe they should have started to spray inside the car and had a constant spark, then it may have exploded when the mixture ratio was correct.

13:55 They actually added way too much air-freshener that first time --- the can would not have dispensed the product at an equal rate of spray over that many-minutes-long "total emptying" period, and so the first minute or two would have been the strongest spray, and then the remainder of the time would have been a lot less spray as the can emptied and its internal pressure went down. What they should have done instead would be to start a timer and then spray some of the can's contents into a cup sitting on a scale to measure how much product came out, stopped dispensing when the desired percentage of the can's stated net weight was expelled into the cup, and then looked at the timer to see how long it took for a full can to dispense that much product. Then they should have sprayed the product from a fresh can into their test-enclosure for that same amount of time to get the desired amount of spray inside the enclosure.

If we're lucky, they'll keep doing this for the next 30 years, get really good at it as they grow older, and we'll have hundreds more episodes of Mythbusters. Of course the only way this will happen is if people watch them

@@thecrazyfarmboy That could happen. For people to view Mythbusters, all that Discovery needs to do is to allow the writers of the show to pursue myths instead of dull, predictable cartoon physics. Since that's what made the show successful, why would people not enjoy it again?!
