Winter 2023 cast a shadow over Ukraine, bringing some of the harshest and coldest conditions we've faced. Our vibrant city of Kyiv, home to millions, was thrust into darkness after our energy infrastructure was shelled by Russia. Despite enduring relentless attacks, grappling with despair, and constantly adapting to survive, we found the resilience to persevere. Remarkably, amidst the turmoil, we even managed to release a new album last spring.
'Out of the Blackout' was recorded in the summer of 2023, serving as a beacon of hope in our darkest hour. It stands as a testament to our strength and determination to overcome the challenges that have engulfed us." - Helle, the vocalist of IGNEA.

Hell yeah! The fact that in spite of the harsh conditions you're going through you continued working on the band is remarcable. You're an inspiration and an example of the strength of the human spirit. I hope this conflict ends soon and you can recover your quality of life and the freedom to porsue your work without having to constantly think about the cold, the bullets and the bombs.
