"Why don't you come up here on stage and dance with the fucking Stooges!" Iggy Pop declared early on tonight. At his request, fans vaulted over barricades to join the Godfather and his merry men, The Stooges, on stage for the rowdy classic 'Fun House'. This old-school punk party has truly begun.
Engulfed by the crowd and chaos, the band brought the fun and the fury, setting the tone for an electrifying night out at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion. Along with cuts from latest album 'Ready To Die', the punk powerhouse tore through their coveted back catalogue including defining moments like 'No Fun', 'I Want To Be Your Dog' and 'Search and Destroy'.

My dad doesn’t care for Iggy and the Stooges but actually ran into Iggy Pop in Germany in the 90’s when he was in the military. They both went to my dad’s favorite bar and had a helluva time or so I’m told.
God, Williamson is SO GOOD. It's like he's been saving these solos since "Kill City"!

he's from my hometown. iggy pop and tammi faye baker's husband ( i fergit his 1st name) were both born in muskegon MI. and when i was a teen they used to play this tiny venue in GRAND HAVEN MI. stooges, mc5, bob segar played there many times. admission was less than $2 and u could sit on the stage! and alice cooper played a few times just before I'M EIGHTEEN hit, savoy brown, ruby starr and grey ghost. so my question is: WHO WAS THE BOOKING AGENT FOR THE GRAND HAVEN ROLLER RINK AND BALLROOM? that person was A GENIUS!

I was at Iggy and The Stooges gig last year and one couldn't just hold a cam in first 10 rows (like you can see here). It was rather probable to get injured! Whole lotta fun though... Here the crowd is sluggish. Come on people. Raw power!

Blues, rock a billy, cuntry, cuntry western speed up a bit and you have RAW POWER. Elvis or Hank Williams, Sr, or J. Cash would cover well this song. The lyrics were wrought by a wordsmith with a band that created punk rock sonics right HEAR right NOW. Never mind the bullocks.
