No one can live with IGA when she's in the zone...just unplayable

there was a lot if unforced errors from Iga in the 2nd set. but her serving was really good during this match. kept the pressure on keys and saved a lot if break points. keys was understandably very much frustrated. good performance from keys during 2nd set, but Iga was relentless. good match - better performance from iga than in madrid, i believe.

Clinical from Iga, as always. Glad she closed in two sets, and also she has one day off, so that's good as well. It seems to me she has become a bit fatigued, after playing back-to-back tournaments and going deep in many of them. I really hope she can perform at 100 percent at RG.

WTA got coconut...look what did to her opponents in the us open..making them play night games. Don't finish until way morning hours..then play coconut early next day..coconut fully rested

Even IF she doesn’t get to the final, I’m still so pleased at this point. She’s on the roads for too long , must be tired both physically and mentally.

It's gonna take more than this to knock of Swiatek. Keys at least 10 chances to break and failed to do so. Some were credit to Swiatek's serving on break points and her hitting some winners, but Keys also had several UEs. Collins is the one player left in the tournament that has been close to as dominant and consistent as Swiatek has been in the tournament so far from what I've seen.

lol i don’t think it’s that she didn’t learn anything it’s just not a good matchup for Keys. Swiatek does everything just a bit better and is able to read Keys game very easily especially on clay

Keys is a heavy hitter but she will never be good enough to win a championship! Keys doesn’t have the mental strength to play when needed! I’ve watched too many of her matches & Keys doesn’t have the mindset to win the big points when needed! Keys needs to work on her mental strength also when she’s playing not just the mechanics of tennis! Keys doesn’t have the grit necessary to take the next big step!
