We were all proud then due to her humanity and we are proud now! Why were you so affected by a little ribbon which only brought attention to the world what horrors her neighbors were enduring! That is a sign of a beautiful, caring human being❤❤❤❤

I think the fact that she looked abroad (to Rafa's game) for inspiration is one of the reasons she has done what no Polish player has ever done (or come close to doing). She always aimed for Rafa's kind of greatness.

@@wszczebrzeszyn No doubt those are key factors, but Iga wanted to emulate greatness in her sport and needed a source of inspiration from outside of Poland too. It shows in her game, which is markedly different than the finesse-style that many Polish women play (which is outdated in today's game IMO). Iga is very proud of her Polishness, so it's not about that, it's about learning from other traditions on top of her inherent abilities that has made her great.

​@postive-vibes Polish tennis is outdated? Are you for real? Aga, Angie, and Caroline Wozniacki are all former top 1-2 players, and all come from Polish "school" of tennis. Iga has been trained since childhood by Polish trainers. Nadal can be an inspiration as a giant of sport and fantastic human being on and off court but the all the basic stuff and skills Iga learnt in Poland

@@markbielak5259 Angie and Caroline grew up playing elsewhere. Aga - no doubt she was amazing as a technician, which allowed her to win a lot despite being a finesse player. I'm talking about Linette, Frech, Kawa and pretty much anyone else over the last 50 years.

The tournaments are far too close to each other, it's so intense and not that 'much time for a break although I hope that #iga will have a good #jazda with success - a big fan of Queen of courts and she loves Rafa - my energy goes to Iga.
