For a lipo, (those V3's are old) try the Ovonic V2 (make sure its the V2!) 1400 130c 6s. They are 60 bucks for 2 on Amazon, and are a amazing battery. I think they are better then the R Line V5's. And they are a bit lighter. And half the price.

I saw an interview with a multi GP race coordinator, and apparently the sensors for timing laps can only pick up the signals from analog or HD zero quads.

Hey! Could you let me know what angle the cam needs to be to -not- see the props? Doing some custom building on my side and just waiting for the frame to come in. Probably need to remove the canopy to test what angle it needs. Awesome insightful video!

It is an X frame which means props in frame of pilots camera. You’d have to crank the camera to 45 degrees minimum to not see props as much.

Holycrap!!! That thing is like greased lightning. I thought you might have used the insta camera with the built in GPS. I know its a bit bigger but so is individual GPS and camera. Is analog a stronger signal? I'm just wondering why the race community is holding out against digital? What country is second most for viewership? Hopefully Canadians like us are supporting the channel.

Racers use analog or hdzero for latency purposes. They both have fixed latency. Walksnail and DJI have variable latency (walksnail has race mode but it’s like 2-3x as much latency as the others). The other reason is it’s hard to get digital systems to play nice with each other or analog systems. Digital systems (besides HDzero) can and will overpower each other and analog. So it’s just a lot of work to get to the point where everyone could fly together. You would almost have to have a “DJI CLASS”

Without RECEIVER means PNP (plug and play) which means there is no ELRS or CROSSFIRE or FRSKY receiver in the drone. Your DJI FPV Controller 2 can only connect to the DJI AIR UNIT, CADDX VISTA & compatible units or DJI O3 AIR UNIT. This drone has none of those. ANALOG means the video signal. Your DJI GOGGLES V2 are DIGITAL, but are not regular digital but instead DJI DIGITAL which means they will ONLY connect to the DJI AIR UNIT, CADDX VISTA & compatible units or DJI O3 AIR UNIT

I like to fly in areas where there are very few to no people. The school kids came over to the park (it’s not on school grounds). I believe they all wanted Captain Drone stickers. 😂

What’s the weight of that drone?

Hi Steve: I hope you can help me. I have recently bought a drone " Nazgul Evoque F5 C2 O3 with Dji RC2 from". I set it up with your guide, I flew it yesterday, 2 batteries and on the 3rd. battery, it wont arm. In the goggles it says " DiISARMED RESCUE - SW No PR ARM. Have you any suggestion on how I can solve it? I have been to BETAFLY and canceled everything and reset it, but it still wont work!

Go back into Betaflight Configurator. It sounds like you have SAVED an option under the MODES tab that conflicts with another mode. Scroll from top to bottom and remove any mode that should not be there, then hit save.

They do have an option to have a radio included, but I don’t know if they set it up and bind it for you.

Specs say: iFlight camera but no further specs, which probably means they don’t use one specific camera (could be RunCam, or Caddx, etc).

​Just out is the DJI mini 4K. It is the same as the DJI mini 2 with a 4 K camera. There are a number of videos out on this from DJI aficionados! Check them out.

There’s absolutely zero reasons to have analogue on anything nowadays. That’s like holding onto your fathers or grandfather’s black-and-white CRT television. Still, I gave the video a thumbs up. Has Steve gives the best reviews on KZread.

Im at 5% throttle and I need to slow it down and its still faster than any screaming freestyle quad out there. Full Throttle? Hell No! It looks like you could go to the moon in a couple minutes. Inside Steve is boring, he never crashes anything
