God bless baba Adisa OSIEFA, baba so sincere and diplomatic about the misunderstanding btw Barrister and King Sunny Ade. Despite his good relationship with KSA, yet he faulted KSA diplomatically about his rift with Barrister and he shown baba OSIEFA had absolute loyalty to Barrister. Even far off you can realize Barrister so humble to the core and add friends than enemies. GOD bless baba OSIEFA
Baba Osiefa is good to hear good advice from you. I am also a fan of Dr SAB
Wishing Baba Adisa Osiefa continuous good health and long life.well done sir.
I have always been a lover of history an will continue to be..... otunba Adisa osiefa long life sir...ejire Weldone
I see true definition of loyalty. God bless you baba
Baba said he wasn’t spending his salary, and built two houses within two years! So this thing started from way back, May God restore Nigeria! That generation squandered the opportunity to build a great country. I enjoyed his sincerity though. May God forgive them all

He was hard working. Worked in another country, had a wife who also worked. Earned commission. Not every lived from salary to salary and not everyone in their generation squandered money
Honestly, I respect the fertile retentive memory of this old man. He is very agile, active, highly cerebral and up to date about every issues. Baba Adisa Osiefa, Akebaje. May Almighty Allah give you sound health and long life. May God increase your knowledge and wisdom.

You right.
I am impressed. At 80, baba is still very vibrant , God bless you sir.
Times are different when we compare today's Nigeria with that of then. For some of us, the benefits we have received abroad could not have been received in Nigeria. We thank God, our sojourn abroad has been fruitful and blessed. It would have been a diferent thing if Nigeria had been well managed to benefit all of us and not a few persons.
Living in abroad is not paradise. God can bless u where u are.

I was happy watching Alhaji Micky Adisa on Consoli TV yesterday. This is a man who in 1979 teamed with Alhaji Oyadolu, former sakara drummer of Barrister's band, to give Fuji music some excitement. You would find it difficult it was not Barrister singing if you listened to the album waxed in 1979 by Alhaji Micky Adisa. These are the people I want Nigbati TV to help us look for. There are so many Fuji acts of the 70s and 80s that we do not know where they are now: Rashidi Adio (Second Barrister) Toib Alamu, Waidi Akangbe, Ramoni Akanni, Fatai Alao, Ejire Sadua, Ejire Bonanza etc. We want Juju musicians like Tony Adex, Bob Aladeniyi, Yemi Kuti, Apostle Oluwole Yellow, Prof. Ola Eto, Sound Millionaires, M.F Olayinka etc. Thanks Nigbati for your efforts at promoting and sustaining the creative industry.

Mmmnnn! I appreciate how Mr. Ejire is bringing out some of the people who has contributed to some of the major factors that has landed Nigerians, especially we, the Yourubas, where we are today: A country where 15 year old boys are now killing their parents for money rituals, all because they want to be close pals with popular musicians. If we are to right our wrongs, we’ve got to retrace our steps. Girls alike are prostituting themselves, at home and abroad for popularity. Thank God, some of these people are still alive. May GOD Almighty help us as a Nation, and as an individual person in the mighty mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen🙏🏾
I Remembered vividly back then my dad said he cannot live in Manchester England because Nigeria was better. Just take a look at where we are today NIGERIA 😢😢😢😢

Go and listen to interviews by sir shina peters on how fans were crossing from ksa stage to barrister stage at TBS in the 80s. That's how it started. Shina peters said that while talking about how he produced ace. As for kollington, his first album that was a hit was a 95% imitation, word for word, beat for beat of barrister's abode mecca

Sir, you are wrong. Barrister and Kolington music and dancing style are different. Therefore, Kolington can’t be using his feud with Barrister to sell his records. Their fans were equally different.
Kindly support our efforts to preserve Yoruba culture and arts by clicking the THANKS button above to buy a Super Thanks!!!
Maybe, it's because of TYC/AFRICAN SONGS, the record label owned by Chief Abioro was one of the reason why KSA and Doctor Barry don't really get along because both of them were with that label before.

Bless this guy and I don't have anything against him but I see lots of biases. He jumped to 1984 when he described how Fuji became popular without a single mention of Kollington. Whereas at that time, Kollington was already popular and competition between SAB & GKA was strong and drove the popularity of genre. And when he was asked about Kollington, he was quite dismissive of Kollington to say he only used SAB to gain popularity. That's wrong because in fact, Kollington first record was a huge hit! And he had lots of hit even when he had nothing to say about SAB These people need to understand they can have a great memory of SAB, acknowledge the greatness of Kollington without dismissing is contribution to Fuji Sadly, people are trying to rewrite history!

I totally align with you view. The work of arts is like two sides of a coin. You can state your preference without being dismissive of others'. I like SAB but SAB's fuji alone does not make the whole of fuji music, including that of those who were his forerunners.
@user-jy4jp5oh3s

The truth we are told is bitter. To everyone who really understand the true message of Fuji music and for those carefully listen to the philosophical genre of Fuji music, it was very clear without doubt in the late eighties and early nighties that Alhaji Killington Ayinla apart from struggling with Barrister , he was also using Barrister for trade and to promote his music. Although without Killington, Barrister would not have popular as it was then. Because, Alhaji Kebe served as an antagonist of SAB. He made SAB struggled more and waxing stronger than expected.
Sikiru Ayinde Barrister clearly downgrade Kolinton Ayinla in "Esimi Rascality" .
Sunny Ade was jealous Barrister bcs he took you from him
The problem between Sunny Ade and Barrister is mor than what anyone can talk about. Nobody can fault both KSA & Barrister. I lives in London and someone told me that Barrister did something to KSA on his 40th birthday. Pls don't fault KSA or SAB
