If you want power and want a clean clear and crisp details, get the KA17. If you want warmer, fuller and comfortable output with fuller bass and smooth treble, get the Hip DAC 3 or 2, these two are very similar but somehow, I am liking the 2 a bit more.

@@eargasmic3060 is ka17 drains the phone battery fast? Ifi hip dac was built with its own battery, my concern is can we replace the battery if something happens with the battery (end of battery lifetime)

@BrianLimoa KA17 will definitely suck the battery out of the phone.. Hip DACs will deliver a battery life of no more than 8-10 hrs but you can always get the battery replaced. It's not complicated.

@@BrianLimoa I like the Hip DAC 2, there is barely any difference in 3 except the IE match which is useless.
