    @ZacksRockingLifestyle

    4 ай бұрын

    @@AcademicDisappointmenthow you came to that nonsensical idea, I don’t know. That isn’t what I said, at all. Bullying is done largely for status. Bullies will often find an aspect of status that their target is lacking in. When your enemies warn you of your weaknesses, those are the things to improve. When a bully tries to diminish the intelligence of their victim, for example that’s generally because the bully recognizes that, mentally, they are outpaced by their target. If a bully calls you physically weak, that bully is reminding you that you’d be higher-status (in general) than they are if you were stronger than they are. Bullies are scared to lose their status. Once, as a young teen, I was backed into a corner and called a f*gg*t by my classmate, so I slapped him across the face, and said “I’ll hit you like one.” He ran off, crying, to his mother. Here he is, accusing me of being feminine, and yet a mild slap to the face made him run off and cry. Status challenge, and he lost.

    I know a girl who is 25, has a body count in the hundreds, and drinks til she passes out 7 days a week. She actually uses the “childhood trauma” line as a personality trait. Her parents got divorced….when she was 17. The most ironic thing is that she wants to major in psychology 😂😂😂

    @@superl8296call me crazy, but your parents divorcing at 17 doesn’t constitute trauma. It’s called growing up. And the point is that all these problems could be fixed by her own decisions - which is the point of this video. People don’t want to take accountability. They want to blame others and have someone tell them it’s okay

    Honestly, the thing about trauma dump and clients what don’t want to improve speaks to me as a therapist who works on the hotline on a personal level. Well, he is talking the truth after all (the phrasing might have been much better tho, and thing about truth serum is a bit much, but it’s comedy so it’s ok I guess). Except we care about feelings of our clients, they just prefer to change the subject or do the “everything is bad, everyone is wrong exept me” or “here’s all of mine intrusive thoughts” talk to avoid pain from exploring their actual feelings and to avoid work that had to be done to find solutions and resourses to actually deal with stuff. And I definitely get paid much less than $200 an hour. More like $2.08 an hour. Hope it was helpful, and I didn't do a lot of grammar mistakes, cause English not my first language
