    Yep yep yep! When a colour or toner for blonde turns this colour, that just means its oxidizing which is normal, let the color do its job and leave it on for what the Product line it should be left on for. If you wash it too soon thats when it comes out patchy coz of hair porosity, but with good products it should come out perfect

    That’s right…trust the process eh! It also won’t last long if it’s taken off too soon - and the tone can also be due to direct dye…which a lot of demi-permanents contain.

    This happens to me everytime. My hair is so porous that it takes the color too much. Should I add more processing solution if that’s the case. I need it to be very creamy like this. How do I get creamy. Can you share me this formula please.???

    Hi there. I can’t be 100% certain (I make SO much content) but I think it’s Pravana Express Tones Clear + Violet 3:1….it does need to go on a very light canvas for the result in the video. There are LOADS of toning tips (and formulas!) in my main videos…

    I went to a salon and I am now 3 different shades. I asked them to make me icy white and now I am yellow blonde, orange blonde, and gray on the bottom. How can I fix this on my own without spending much more money at a salon.

  • @theworldofcraig

    Hi there, sorry to hear you didn’t get the result you were after. I’m afraid that’s a really tricky one to correct yourself - without toning to the deepest warm section, (I’m guessing you want that “icy white?) your hair needs to be lifted more, then the grey removed and re-toned. As much as I’m an advocate for people doing home colour, when it’s re-bleaching there’s so much that could potentially go wrong and make matters worse.

  • @theworldofcraig

    @theworldofcraig

    Hi there That’s a tricky one to answer without actually seeing your hair. Check out the Short I posted today - it has formulas to “cancel out” orange that work well…you’d need to used something else for the ends. Tbh, you’d need to lift everything to the same colour/level if wanting a very “clear” result.

    @@theworldofcraig Thank you, I'll check it out right now! I can't lift my hair anymore, it's basically dead and just looking alive because there's like a whole bottle of argan oil in it while it's in braids lol. I lifted it several times but coloured over it, so the remaining orange is just leftovers (from a far, it looks all like honey/beige blonde, but closer, it's either ash or orange) there's platinum under it all (therefore, breakage). I'm totally fine with going darker especially at the roots where it looks better anyway, but I just don't want to trigger neither warmth nor ash - so I'm just looking for a shade direction that's neutral. Do you think getting a beige or pearl/opal toner is relatively neutral?

  • @theworldofcraig

    @theworldofcraig

    11 ай бұрын

    You’re welcome. Being totally honest, I’d advise you to leave it alone - it’s a really tricky thing to balance those different times and there no “one for all” solution - if you try to remove the warmth from the roots and just a tiny bit goes on the ends they will get really dark and “muddy”. There are loads of colour theory videos on here in my main videos that will explain more than I can in a reply.
