Just love when makeup artists like yourself show that makeup can still be about light touches for enhancing (not totally changing) your face. Nowadays, it’s so hard to find videos that are truly minimal makeup. So many say that but then you click and it’s not really minimal at all, for those of us who truly want minimal this tutorial is PERFECT!

You are rigth, Andrea is very classy and honest in her videos. I love all her tutorials, but this one is great for me, I really needed to improve my simple routine and this video helped me.

I felt as if you were talking to me throughout this tutorial ☺️I stopped wearing makeup more than 15 years ago. Now at age 59, I’m ready to explore makeup and how it can lightly enhance my face. The quality of my day is better when I spend just 5 minutes putting on some light makeup. I'm ready for school drop off, a work Zoom call, a walk in the neighborhood, a FaceTime with my mom, running to the grocery--anything. I love Laura Mercier for minimal days.

That foundation stick is exactly the texture I want on my base products, I love the idea of something quite pigmented and “stiff” enough( as in creamy) that I can dab on veeeeery strategic places and it’s going to stay there and mesh with the texture of my skin. Maybe it’s my current spf but my concealer is not being nice to me atm so that’s why I’m not using that.

I either do a full face of makeup with lashes or go bare, there’s no in between so watching this beginner video for simple makeup was really fun. I love how you make it clear to us that what works for you might not work for us because makeup, especially mascara is subjective.
