#1: Pick your customer. Most auto detailers think that if the start a professional auto detailing business then that means they have to do every kind of detailing that exists. The problem is, when you try to reach everyone you end up reaching no one. Sad right?
#2: I give my own beginner professional auto detailer story... for the first two years of my auto detailing business I basically ONLY detailed interiors. Why was this helpful? Because I got to know my customer base better than LITERALLY ANY OTHER DETAILER in my area... and you know what that means? My detailing business sky rocketed above theirs.
#3: When you pick a niche, it's important to become the best. This is the fastest way for a word of mouth reputation to spread... it's not becoming the best professional auto detailer around town. It's about becoming the best auto detailer who does "X" because SPECIFICS are what make people talk!
