If you knew this, would you still visit China?

In truth, it is a 90 day visa run but the journey is so interesting + on this day Janet Yellen visits Guangzhou as I was leaving. She does not have WeChat? but I decided to mention her anyway at the border crossing. Is she on the right path regarding exports / imports, costs and sales or should she turn her concentration on the buyers?

I love all people and understand their struggles! Now when I ride the train in Boston super early in the morning, practically 70% Spanish (assuming South Americans) speaking riders, probably because they're all low pay service sector or construction types workers! Office workers don't start until 9-9:30 am! I totally agree with Colonel Douglas McGregor view the reason we don't secure our borders is there's no money in it like sending military aid resulting in booming in certain industries! Or sometime I wonder we let them in because you often hear shortage of workers in the US, if you live in a gated community! Who cares! They serve you at a low paying jobs when they go to a high paying profession 😂😂😂

I guess they don't care how many times you do it, just as long they can keep the bad people out by not allowing them back in once they do a visa run.

FYI, I have been visited 3 times during that 7 years by census survey officers, if I have broken any Chinese laws, I would have been arrested and deported already. Oh BTW, every Chinese immigration officer was aware of my frequent traveling in and out of China every 15 days, they can see those entry stamps in my passport. Once, I even asked an officer at the counter, this is the conversation....what if I exceed my stay more than 15 days accidentally.....no big deal, you will just get fined....will I get blacklisted?....No, nothing to worry about...LOL

The crowd situation here is nothing in comparison with what it is in Tokyo, Japan. The good thing is that everyone is moving in a orderly fashion and no pickpocketing in the crowd situation like this. The security check at the subway station is really nothing than just passing through your bags and open liquid bottles and that's it. I rather be safe than sorry. I have to say traveling in China, safety would be the last thing I would worry. China is one of the safest place on earth for travelers. I left my bag at a McDonald and I realized 4 hours later. I rushed back by taxi and found it was still there no one touched it. That bad would be stolen or taken away if I am in European cities or American cities. I never worried walking on the streets even at later night or 2 AM when the streets are quiet.

So apparently its actually more efficient overall (and safer) if everyone stand on both sides of the escalator. There won't be individuals who can move faster than others but it's just better for the collective whole. And the escalators are also less likely to break because the load is more static and balanced.

"When in Rome" is the best way to deal with China! If there are channels for complaining or suggestions, do so! I've followed China contents quite a while now Chinese care how the rest of the world view them! I notice certain changes like having signs asking people use headphones on train that kind of stuffs, in the past some just blast their phone loudly! Culture don't change overnight, may be next generation! Even as HongKonger I notice our Cantonese is quieter than Guangzhou's!😂😂😂

Things have changed so much in the Mainland since before COVID, it's like walking in a parallel universe now. Some conspiracy theorist Uber driver who took me to West Kowloon Terminus speculated that The Little Red Book "brainwashed" the people to me polite and courteous. And I think maybe you are overestimating how long a Generation is. It would appear that the most visible prodominant generation tends to change every 10 years. So the most visible mainlander are their millennials. Either way, I am not gonna complain. ❤

Just complaints about everything because it's not down to a British self entitled convenience. I can highlight your own country inadquency and lack of proper transports in a country that is 10 times roughly smaller than China. You also choose some of the rather peculiar off routes and it comes across in your video as the main dreary transport in China's. Question.... Why are you in China then???? What is your purpose since all you do is finding fault with the slightest opportunity. I can highlight so many more about UK that will infuriate you as well.

She's blaming China for exporting high quality products at lower (not cheap) prices and she's not happy about it, because American companies can't compete, both on price and superior quality. How's that for sour grapes?

Here in the U.S. everything from people forcefully yanking people out of trains (had this happen in the 90's, guy in a suit couldn't wait for the next train. Yanked me out from behind and tried to squeeze himself in, just before the train took off.) To people trying to throw/push others on to the rails, happen. The security and etc. Are only there to clean things up. They're not much help when things are happening.
