The first vid I'm working on is not so much my main idea of my new channel, but something I'll be incorporating as additional vids and information. But, as a dry run, I decided to use my granddaughters making toilet bombs (fizzies), they're 6 & 7 (they had fun helping me out). Figured it would be a good run at trying the new camera and learning software to edit it before I embarrass myself and put me out front and center, lol... All good though...

weird enough there are children here in our country that struggle now with our own native language due to most content being available in English. (my daughter included) so in our effort to have her learn our language she will also learn by doing a teach-back through her content :) That we she helps herself and hopefully help others too! (that and some fun stuff, we're keeping her entertained given the lockdown) lol

Last fall I did a series of little history-focused video projects with my grandkids to learn how to do ... well ... anything involving video. Next I'm working on a 77-day video challenge recommended by Darren LaCroix from Stagetime University, but I'm going to modify his rules to suit my purposes. I'll do KZread videos, learning to turn them out quickly while still having decent content, and I'll suggest ideas grandparents can use to use to create history-focused videos with their grandkids. All 20 of my followers (who are all relatives) are bound to enjoy it ; )

If you are reading this , I pray that and wish that your KZread channel is going to blow up . Don't give up, KZread is here to stay , one day you gonna make it.

I had 0 subscribers for about a month before I did one thing. Be genuine. If you’re not genuine in front of a camera, people can see it. They see that you aren’t being yourself and, as a result, will see through your act. So if you aren’t already, set up your camera, press record, and just be yourself! Nobody can be you because you are the ONLY you! 👌🏻

That's a good guideline. Figuring out your target audience and stepping in their shoes is also effective - what do THEY want? Deliver that. Simple, but hard to execute.

I've tried to be successful on KZread for a couple of years now and it took those couple of years to understand that it isn't about the number. Just focus on your growth as a producer, editor, cameraman, and person and you will be much happier. That's what does it for me

I've been on KZread for 16 years and used to have an active channel back in 2006-2009 when I worked as a radio personality. However, I stopped making videos in 2009 and my subscriber count dropped significantly. I've been looking to build my account back up again after many years. So thank you for this video! I may not be new to KZread, but I do appreciate these tips and tricks! 🙂

Probably the hardest thing a small youtuber can feel is when you wake up in the morning and nothing has changed in your channel. 😓😓

Do you add "the question' and "answer" in the KZread title, add it into the video Description area or both?

A good way to start is to wonder what you want to create yourself, what do you love doing. Why would you want to make a popular video? Make something you are proud of for yourself and don't judge yourself based on the number of likes or viewers. Or others, for that matter

Looking at the comments I would just say this,do not quit! It will take a long time but treat it like something you enjoy and it will happen for you!

As long as you are enjoying it and you feel you express yourself through your YT channel it is totally worth it and you can never fail! I'm doing a mental health channel and have learnt so much abut my own mental health lol

I just started my KZread channel, so it's still a small channel, but after procrastinating and doubting myself, now am so proud of myself

it just happened quickly. I uploaded my first video then realized that making videos is fun. we can do this!

I was just reading Tony Robbins new book, and in the first chapter he discusses again how he realized that the best way to figure out how to improve his life was to find people who had already done it, and learn from them. So this is a big point here. There are people who went from ZERO to 10,000 subscribers. It can be done. There are methods and paths to get it done. So hopefully, Heather can show us HOW to do it. SHE did it. This is the way SHE and others have done it, so it's learnable. That's very encouraging.

We all start somewhere! I’m thrilled with my 55 subscribers after several months and I know I’ll get more over time if I continue putting out great content!

I started my videos with "How to" topics. Still doing it right now! Because sometimes my friends ask me questions in my niche and I thought maybe someone else on the internet has that question too!

Even after starting my channel I'm still taking hours of watching these videos to learn and grow. And I'm grinding and making sure I post one TikTok, one KZread short, one KZread video eveyday. I've also shared my KZread on Facebook and was worried about people trampling my dreams yet I was shocked and surprised to see that I got Soo much support! I'm going to keep grinding and I'm not going to slow down. I've got this! No! We've got this!

Just imagine how much more you can grow if you joined the VRA program! They’re amazing!!!!!!!

I’m close to 50k subs and one thing I learned is that if you dont take the time to study your analytics, you’ll never what’s working for your channel. Focus on optimizing your content as much as possible using high CTR thumbnails and SEO optimized videos.

I just started getting back into youtube just not long ago and sadly I stopped during pandemic. I felt lost and unmotivated. My content was basically lame. I really struggle with how to topics because in my own niche - (health and fitness) everyone wants “how to lose weight in 1 day” or “how to jump to x or y extreme” and my approach to health and nutrition is the exact OPPOSITE! It’s been a true challenge but with more and more videos I’m learning some of the pain points of my target audience ✨

Answer the specific question YOU want to answer for YOUR audience. You don't want the audience that wants to lose weight in ONE day. You want the audience that wants to "Lose weight and keep it off." or You want the audience that wants to "Lose weight without DIETING (i.e., practicing sound nutrition). The loose weight in one day people are not your audience. Follow YOUR passion don't chase after the quick fix something for nothing crowd. There are fewer people in YOUR audience but they will be more loyal repeat viewers.

How to get back on track after a cheat day. Pros of losing weight in a slow but sustainable way. Cons of losing weight to quickly. Hope these help. 😀

I'm a health coach (and want to start a youtube channel but not on health coaching or weightloss-something completely different, lol), but I will say that something my clients need most is "how to lose weight with self-compassion"

The hardest thing for being a small youtuber is waking up seeing and seeing no change on your channel. I bet all small youtubers can relate.

First; Bless you, I love the term our 'Legacy Years'❣ Secondly; I've been watching Mary for years and she's one of the women who has given me the confidence to try this. I stumbled across your channel, and you have opened the door to my KZread education. It's even more reassuring to know that you are the site that helped Mary become the fantastic teacher she is today. Every video I watch from 'Think Media' teaches me so much. I'm a senior living in poverty (which is also what my target audience is), so unfortunately my budget is too tight to take your course as I get started, but hopefully in the future. I'm so thankful I found 'Think Media'💯❤

I started my channel a few years ago. Never posted anything. This year I started posting videos. I’m an outdoor channel. Mainly fishing. I didn’t know where to even start other than to just go fishing and I love fishing! So far I have 53 subs and I’m doing what I can do get better!!!!
