There are videos of famous preachers like Hijab, Mufti Menk, and others saying people are apostacising from Islam in alarming numbers, yet it's hard for some Muslims to believe it. I went to Hajj with my mum, who said to me do you see how the floor is clean of bird poop, because birds don't poop in the haram (sacred mosque area). I had to tell her that there are cleaners everywhere who regularly clean the place, and actually if you look around the birds eat and they poop even right on top of the Ka'ba! But people like to believe what they want.
