It's the same concept as the 3x3 one with 4 lines. You just have to extend one of the lines, and then make two extra lines, that get the right and bottom line of dots.

To make this a little bit more complicated, try to connect every dot only once. Line 4 at 1:57 would not be allowed then, since the top dot on line 2 is already connected. Actually, try to connect each dot with only 1 line, so that even line 2 at 1:53 would be an illegal move, since the top dot would be in line 1 and 2.

With long enough lines, you could do it with only 4 lines

When it says "don't go over previous line" does that mean "don't go over the previous line" or "don't go over previous lines". both of which mean 2 different things

it means when you draw a line dont go back using the same line. i.e. dont use the same way backward.

For extra credit, you should ask how many patterns can be drawn to complete the task, not counting mirror images or side rotations. 14, 11, 8, space, 4.3.2.1.space, 5,10,15, space, 16, 12, 8, 7, 6, 5, 9, 13.

Simple, I have solved problems like this before. All you have to do is finish your lines with however many you want and put 6 lines in the middle.

Solved it. Pretty easy if you think"outside the box

I did it in 5 without going out of the map, but i do have a question, is it okay to go back to where you already connected a dot?

If the dots are supposed to be points and not dark circles, then there is no way you can do it with 4 lines. Geometrically speaking,, a point has position but no size or dimension. So if you use 4 long line you will not get the center of some of the dots. In that case you would have missed some of the dots if they were points.

I did it a different way. Its pretty fun. I also did it with just four lines but that way is pretty cheap tbh

EASY,you can connect the first four with a tilted line(not parrelel with the four dots),when this line is longer you can do the same with other lines

To everyone who says they solved it with four lines, they cheated because points have no actual size and so you can't extend the line SEGMENT out very far and hit all four points because the points have no size. In addition it seemed like he cheated because he said you can't go over previous lines and he went over his previous lines when passing through a point that he already went through. Make your rules clearer.

I swear to god I got how to do it as don't fllow "traditional" lines and I got the first line but could not be bothered to do the rest but I would if I just did it

+kirppukiitaja You can do these problems as long as you have the same or more lines as the amount of dots on one of the sides. (as long as you can go outside of the box)

I collected it but with my own way :)

it was as easy as a hand stand to me I didn't have a look at the awnser at all

I did it differently but I did it!

I think it is just a shit way of saying you can't lift the pen off the paper

It can be done with just *4 lines*.

Because it says u have to start off where ur line ends and the line is out of the dots
