😂 Food tray girl...the story of every bride who doesn't get time to eat at her own wedding classic!

At my wedding my husband secretly ordered hors d'oeuvres to be passed around while we were taking pictures. He made one of the groomsman make me a plate and bring it to me so I could eat in between shots. If I had had any doubts about marrying him that made me sure I made the right decision.

This is comedic genius. Weird Al would be impressed.

YOU need to remember to take every trip with a tray over to the bride and groom FIRST, then the wedding party members, then, and only then, make a sweep around the room to the invited people who stopped to get breakfast at ihop on their way to the wedding……

I have left my Coffee, or what ever, to the side. watching this, and similar. Otherwise, I get a bad case of the hickups. And, of course, that is when my phone rings!

Also “Endless Hug” was so relatable. We had traveled back to my childhood home 3000 miles away for the wedding and I had NO FRICKIN’ IDEA who all these super affectionate people were….

This is so darn funny but so true!!! My son’s friends got so drunk, one passed out at the table, one chased after my daughter even though he was engaged, one flirted with me, and one threw up on the bus taking us back to the hotel!!! 😂😂😂😂

That story at the end was too funny. I can just see poor Penn with a shocked expression on his face, eyes all wide like "What is happening?!!", as she planted one on him. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I wondered if it was Penn doing all the different parts... the harmonies were really good!

Very funny! Brought me back to the days when I played weddings in a guitar and flute duo. Mostly we played mushy background music. At one reception the groom got drunk and kept yelling "Strike up the band!" He wanted to dance. Um, we can play a really lively version of "Ode to Joy" but I don't think that's what he wanted. When we were really bored, we played what we called "Blues Jam in E" where I'd simply play a blues riff on the guitar and the flute player would improvise. That was good for at least 20 minutes and no one ever knew it wasn't a real song. Then there were the times we'd get requests for songs we'd already done, sometimes only 10 minutes prior. People don't really listen to the music at a wedding. I should write a parody about that or Penn, maybe you could. If you need a killer version of "Ode to Joy" lemme know.

I have been to many weddings like this. Which is exactly why my guy & I made damn sure ours wasn't! Fortunately, it was a small wedding and all the guests knew me very well, so they weren't expecting anything approaching "normal"...For example, solved the bridesmaids' dresses problem by telling them to wear whatever they were comfortable in--two wore jeans. The reception ended with us all getting in a circle and singing & swaying along to "Give Peace a Chance". Not a fist fight in sight! 😊

Food Tray Girl has my vote... if I had to vote! Genius as always!

That was a hoot! Endless Love was my wedding song and we’re still married 35 years later. And September is one of my favorites to dance to at a wedding!

Wow, I've never been more happy that we did a brunch wedding without a reception line and dance music.

That one about "bad decisions" would have made our wedding reception quite interesting...our reception place at a Methodist church.

That was hilarious, a great way to start the morning. My friend is getting married tomorrow I will definitely be sending him this, I think he will get a kick out of it.

That was just too funny! But honestly, our wedding was almost 30 years ago, so the only music I remember was our first dance song, the wedding entrance music, a polka for one of our older guests, and Hava Nagila (it was a Jewish wedding). Beyond that we told our very experienced DJ to just play a good variety of music for that time period (but please, no Chicken Dance). One of my favorite parts, though was when he played the Jaws theme music for the ritual cutting and feeding each other the wedding cake, which was absolutely hilarious!

Not at a wedding, but at a family reunion - There use to be this elderly lady that was a friend of the family. She was close enough, long enough that she was considered "family" and invited to most family gatherings. My cousin and his family lived out of state and thus not as familiar with her as the rest of us here. At this one reunion she spotted my cousin who she hadn't seen for several years and excitedly came up to him and gave him a big hug and kiss. As stated earlier, he didn't remember her at all. So afterwards he came over to me, in a shocked daze, looked at me and asked "Who WAS that old lady that just slobbered all over me?"

At my cousin's wedding her half brother who she only met twice kept trying to introduce family members to her immediate family members and since we had been in each other's lives for ever, we knew everyone, but pretty much as a collective group we decided to just go with it

It was about 20 minutes (minimum). Funny as hell, but mostly to us cuz they were more inside jokes. Even though some things were completely inappropriate & I had to have someone get me 3 drinks during his speech (not even joking) it was a great speech! Nobody cared cuz he’s got one of those personalities that draws people in. He also caught the garter & my sister caught the bouquet. It was so funny. He had the everyone cracking up!

I got a band that played motown and 50s pop. Everyone danced like crazy... old and young.

Mouthy, it was toothy. Lol! And that Brown Eyed Girl parody - EVERY wedding I've ever been to that wasn't sit down service (and sometimes even then).

I am getting married in less than two weeks. This video couldn’t have come at a better time.

That last one was not too long. As a matter of a fact, I was laughing so hard a tear came out because I could very much envision it! It also reminded me of a wedding we attended where the BRIDE stuck her tongue in my husband's mouth! (And no, he didn't really know her! He was friends with the groom!) Talk about awkward!

This was funny, but I still love all of those songs.

My wife and I have been married for 26 years. I still remember the wedding. All of these songs are true.

I just tell people that " I am great at forgetting names". I highly recommend just being honest.

OMG hilarious! See if anyone came in close to me, I would have been the person to boldly ask "who are you?". I find very few people have the courtesy to say their name when they are introduced without a name. I really wish they would say their name because the interaction becomes so awkward if they don't. Especially if the night goes on and you find yourself stuck in the company of this person again. I find it easier to ask so we get this whole thing over with. Not wanting to talk or ask something has gotten me into some situations where I ended up stuck in a vortex of way more interaction than I ever cared for. I totally relate to you Kim! You are both so talented! I am totally enjoying your channel (which I recently stumbled upon) and I have shared so many of your clips with family and friends.

That's what I always tell people when they ask my advice on wedding plans: ELOPE And when they say they feel obliged to invite family and friends I tell them to say it's a destination wedding and OF COURSE they're welcome to come but you really can't afford to pay their airfares or accommodation 😁

At a friend's wedding reception years ago we discovered random people in the kitchen eating the food. They were asked to leave and did but they came back later to try 'visiting' the gift table.... they were escorted out. Then at the end of the night we noticed the booze donation jar was gone.... weddings... fun times.

I'm a huge fan of Kraft Dinner, kraft mac and cheese four our Yankee neighbours, and our friends catered our wedding as our wedding present from them. After only having breakfast with the boys one last time I hadn't eaten until about 4:30 when this plate of KD was put in front of me. I started to eat my first fork full and someone came over and tried to get me to go say hi to some people I was not sure who they were. My amazing wife of mere hours looked them straight in the face and let them know coming between me and my KD would be akin to sticking your hand in a pigs food mid chew. We also had a trampoline there and way way too much fun taking pictures jumping in our fancy clothes.

Wife and I took our fullest advantage of covid to have a small wedding. Max 50 people guest list. No recital dinner, bachelor/bachelorette party. We walked the isle, said our vows, got married, had first dance, daughter/father, mother/son. Toasts from my wife's twin/maid of honor, best man, her dad, my mom. Cut our cake, gave everyone cupcakes and were on the road less than an hour after it started. No alcohol, no drama, no depleted life savings, no starting the honeymoon exhausted and cranky.

I didn't have a wedding and the only thing I feel like I missed is the cake. Luckily I have remedied that many times over my 26 year marriage!
