That's from the same Bible that says the Earth doesn't move, a rabbit chews its cud, heaven has seven tiers with an ocean and a firmament, and clouds are a means of conveyance. The list goes on, but why beat a dead horse?

I went to Bible college to study theology as a keen Christian. We were taught to not trust or believe what the Bible says, so I graduated or good degree, but damaged faith. Only recently have I regained my faith thanks to Answers in Genesis and Expedition Bible KZread videos. Thank you Ken Ham.

This is called Paul's gospel as he was given this gospel by revelation by the risen Christ after his death buriel and resurrection from the dead. This is that gospel! 1 Corinthians 15:3:4 how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures; that is all you have to believe according to the scriptures.

@@normbale2757 that’s not very nice. I agree that the Bible can be studied. The problem with my course was that the presumption by the lecturers was that atheists who criticised the Bible were correct. The Bible wasn’t given a fair chance.

I agree mr ham! one of the problems happening is way too many churches preach the same message week after week.they are on a milk diet and never get to solid food.yet these same preachers will spend 20 minutes every week on tithing! or 2hrs with music! We need to start preaching real life JESUS! even here in the south the bible belt it's very difficult to find a true bible believing preaching church!

Well said. I just left my home church of 8 years as the man who left was allowed to damage the members, was replaced by a "fluff" preacher. I approached my elders and wrote critiques on his sermons. I asked that they peruse the critiques first or have the current man with them when they went over it. They sent it right to the man and of course he was offended. I apologized after meeting the elders who said "we hired him to preach that way as we were losing young people". The prior preacher skuttled about 3/4s of the youth, then bringing in preaching that bends to culture? WHAT? So, I went to another place, but "works" sermons were being taught. Sad. We don't want to "offend" people, yet Jesus offended many, but drew many with the truth.

I guess i should pray about just starting a home bible study small and see if that attracts people who hunger.I'm no pastor so maybe doing it the way Paul and the early church did it by meeting in homes is a better way.i'll need to pray on this.I sure could use people like you and others here who feel the same!

My current church had several weeks on Genesis 1-11 unfortunately I missed some due to eye health problems, and couldn't see to set up the virtual church we have. This current church has 12 nationalities and we are a medium sized town not a city.

So thankful mine is good. He preaches 1 book of the bible after another, line by line so we learn it, what it means, how to apply it to rhe real world. He warns us to expect tribulation & persecution, to share the gospel, to become more like Jesus.he emphasizes loving people/loving Jesus. Forgiveness. Faith.

My church is growing in attendance. We seek people to come we don't sit around and wait.

My church is growing from a very small number. From 20 to about 40 regulars in 6 months that I've been there. Its a very small town under 5000 and the quality is a matter of opinion. We learn from scripture and everyone is evolved. I think God cares about quantity as well as he loves us all and wants us all with him in the end. Its up to us if that's what we want.

I am SO HAPPY to hear that. The less churches, preachers and conmen like this in Australia the better. The last thing I want to happen to this wonderful, still fairly secular country is to end up like America - a borderline Christo-fascist, science denying theocracy.

Its not about the building. Its not about all of the paid staff or activities or programs. Its not about the "worship leader". Its not about being a governmental nonprofit organization with 501c3 corporation status. Churches were the first buildings ordered to be closed when covid started. Why? Because they are partnered with the government in tax status and corporation status and had to or else. God would never make church this way. Thats why it is about each of us being born again individuals and each of us then being the church.

Problem with this kind of evil is by the time you realize there's a problem, it's already too late. We're standing here with the water around our waist saying, "If we don't do something, the ship will sink."

I am 58 years old. When I went to church as a child, it was a beautiful, solemn thing. Beautiful music, hymns with the gospel at the centre. A liturgy that framed the service logically, sermons worth listening to. Now? Nothing. Neither fish nor flesh. Chatismatic songs that I refuse to sing. Wordly "sermons", no Lord's prayer. That is not a service, it's a shambles and ridiculous. An insult, really. Why would I go there?

Not all modern songs are bad and not all of the old songs are good. Some are like being at a miserable funeral. Where there is no God. We must not forget the joy of Christ, the wonder of him, which a lot of the old stuff did forget. The Bible tells us to worship him with musical instruments. David danced. I skipped Sunday School because it was like school. I was 45 before I came to Christ. Mainly because of the miserable services and the people who went there. God disturbers. I did come to Christ and was with that church many years. I was becoming disenchanted with the church but not Jesus or God. I had done much study and work in the church, but something was wrong. I started getting real teaching about 30 years in. Revelation TV. Answers in Genesis Dr Grady McMurtry, John Mckay and many others. O so different from the CofE teaching. I was told the vicar had said not to watch Revelation TV Young earth your mad. Slowly things began to dawn on me. These people had something that the church lacked. Yes macro evolution doesn't make scientific sense. I had to look for several years to find a Bible Believing Church, that was not miserable that also believed in the Jews an important people. Yes they have to come to Christ but they are still Jews. Then covid put a stop to everything. But I did find that elusive Bible Believing Church that was not miserable. Recognised the Jews. I'm not a youngsters I'm 77 hope for all.

In the UK it is hard to find spirit filled churches. Feels more like a social club in many places. Also many have women pastors. I'd rather sit at home than attend one of these churches where the word of God is of secondary importance.

Remember Jesus did not exclude women. Even for those days. Who was with him when He died. The women and John. NO Peter. Who did Jesus give the most important job to do in the Bible. The women. NOT his male disciples, they were all cowering in a room. HE had RISEN. The women first. One sentence hidden in ACTS Mary the mother of Jesus was a house leader. They didn't call them churches then. even Paul taught in a house. Even Paul had a female spiritual adviser, was it Lydia can't remember. When he talked about the problem with the women he was taking about a problem in a particular church. He talked about husbands and wives. Not men and women. He also told men to obey their wives. That is also never mentioned or is glossed over. My female pastor is the best Pastor I have known in 33 years when I first came Christ. Pity I hadn't met her much earlier (only 2 years) . Treat each Pastor regardless of male/female but as an individual. Some Good Some Bad.

Adam failed in his duties as men still do today. Jesus entrusted the most important work in the Bible to women. The telling of His Resurrection.

This generation is starting to come back, and I've been watching churches in our city start to swell with these younger people, so much so that churches are having to add another service, or build on to their building. This generation has watched around them as this economic depression (it is not a recession), with the things of this world has failed them and they are searching. Once they do get plugged in, they want more than just another church service and they are getting plugged into ministries in the area. I am hearing of other revivals breaking out across this country, and I am finding that this younger generation doesn't just want to play church, with a service on Sunday and back to the world. Even just five years ago I would not have expected this, so we have to pray for the workers because they are coming and they are bringing their energy with them. They want something real, and God is meeting them where they are. Sometimes it takes something as hopeless as thinking that the "American dream" of owning a house is out of their reach, but those who are finding Him are finding out that He has much more to offer than any material thing of this world. It isn't hopeless, so keep praying!

Nope, I don't let anyone use the "hypocrite" accusation to discredit the Word of God. It only supports scripture. We are told there will be liars and deceivers "wolves in sheep's clothing". We are told to meditate on His Word daily so we are not deceived. And even in the secular world you don't get to use someone's else behavior to excuse yours, why would you think God would accept it? Everyone knows all they can about the thing they are most passionate about, if you don't know what the Word of God says, you need to look into your own desires...

Neither am I You forget 2000 years ago the Bible Predicted there would be a falling away. This will happen as the end times gets closer. Predictions of wars rumours of wars, in fact what we see in the world today. Even the nuclear bomb. Skin will melt, and so on. Adam destroyed our opportunity for a perfect world with no illness, no death, no violence, no dangerous animals, the lamb will lie with the lion. One God. Adam by being disobedient and wanting to be equal with God destroyed it all. There is no other religion that would even consider that their followers would fall away and do their best to keep them using violence, loss of life, threats of losing family, community, business, work, senior clerics wanting to be equal with god. while the people suffer. Yes it also happened in what that denomination called Christianity but is not. Basically it went through times of male domination not God in charge, but there have always been people to try and get it back on course. I wait for Jesus return but He wont descend gently from a cloud. Far from it.

@@linjp2773 Jesus repeatedly also said that God's kingdom would come in the lifetime, or the generation, of his listeners. 2000 years later it hasn't happened, so that rather contradicts your reply.

We are in the end days, I don't understand why pastors and theologians don't realize we are in the "falling away" stage of Revelation. And 'taking a stand" isn't going to make one iota of difference, the world's future is cast-in-stone and there is nothing anyone can do about it. God's word is going to come to fruition, every single word of it. Even so, come Lord Jesus.

I totally hear you, but I have to caution---how many times have Christians believed theirs was the last generation? Shouldn't we be working towards handing the baton to the next generation, laboring on behalf of the kingdom of God, rather than throwing up our hands? It may be that this will prove the great falling away, but even if it is, we are to labor on. Didn't Jesus say that the servant busy about the Master's business/work when He returns is blessed? If this is the last stretch, then let us run it well, brother. :)

If you look at all the countries statistics, religions are declining in numbers across the board. There's a very good reason for that. Generations are waking up. Religions will never become fully extinct and the decline will be very slow but nonetheless they decline. I'm pretty sure none of you want to believe this.

Kind Sir...the time HAS gone!...to turn around of the next generation(s). Why? Well, Jesus and Paul, etc; prophesied; that it will be horrible and only Jesus can stop it. But he won't...because we deserve it; to the "Nth" degree! Here it is... Jesus called us "small flock"..."And, when the Son of Man returns, will He find faith on the earth?..."

One of the reasons the gospel has been skewed at least in part is what we call "church." The original term is "ekklesia" which is translated "congregation" or "assembly," can never be translated "church." Church if anything is exactly what Ken said, a building that can close its doors. Ekklesia is never a building and the "gates of hell will not prevail", according to Jesus.

I have talked with a number of people that have left the evangelical church and none have shared this as the cause. Church abuse and hypocrisy are high on the list. There is another way to view attendance in Europe and that is maybe it is the nominal believers that are leaving. While serving in missions in Africa, I saw that half or more of the missionaries there were from Europe. May be quality over quantity?

God has shown that there will always be a remnant. I think this is what people miss thinking that the entire world will be Christianized, and if it is not, that somehow Christianity is failing. God continues to do what he desires via the few that (He chooses and) find the narrow gate.

When on earth as a man he was a Jew, an Israelite, to whose nation the words of Isaiah 43:10 were written: "'You are my witnesses, 'is the utterance of Jehovah, 'even my servant whom I have chosen.'" Jesus demonstrated that he was a faithful and true witness of Jehovah God. His genuine disciples today must be the same kind of witnesses, Jehovah's.

How do we balance our Faith and our right to worship with everyone else's rights to their Faith (or non-faith)? If I have a right to openly and freely practice my Faith, don't Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Atheists etc have the same rights? I don't have to agree with someone's perspective to support their right to that perspective. From what I can tell, Yeshua never forced his teachings on others - He would share his teachings but let people make their own choices.

For a believer, there is no balance unfortunately. Jesus was abundantly clear that he came not to bring peace but a sword. Meaning, you were either with him or against him. No neutrality possible. Islam is even more extreme. Islam is to be spread by whatever means necessary. You either submit to Allah and the Holy Qur'an or you are to be eliminated. No middle ground here either. These "end times prophecy" are thus self-fulfilling. When each side of the two major brands of faith both believe a blood bath is the inevitable conclusion to the earthly story before God "cleans" things up and ends it, then clash is a given.

The problem is that the truth of God's Word is not taught, Music and songs have become aligned with world style and Jesus name hardly mentioned in words. Drumming dominates the music. Format is geared to organisational programming. No place for the Holy Spirit. Not addressing, through teaching, God's truth the pressing cultural issues facing people. But rather mealie mouth sermons that challenges no one to change their lives in a godly way. Thank God for a few churches online that one can still hear truth being preached from pastor's not afraid to speak strongly about the worldliness of Christians. If I weren't able to listen to them, I would still be "playing" church on Sundays!

I don't think teaching creationism in the church will stop the erosion of attendance. We must model the life of Christ, including abandoning our materialistic pursuits. We are not much into picking up our crosses and following Christ, and people, including our kids, know this. The Holy Spirit needs to do what needs to be done in us. We should be praying for the reformation of our souls and lives.

So what you’re saying is that the Holy Spirit is actually failing to do what needs to be done in you, no matter how hard you’re praying. Seems to me that if all that is known to me about God is plain to me, because God has made it plain to me, and that his eternal power and divine nature must have been clearly seen by me, that I should be without excuse for not getting it. And yet, I wasn’t getting it. If someone makes a legitimate effort to be a Christian, it stands to reason that they were neither godless nor wicked in their pursuit of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. And yet, the Holy Spirit apparently failed to do what needed to be done in me. I still don’t get it.

@@TenMinuteTrips Hello, let me just share my own testimony. I can relate to what your saying because that used to be me. Never could "get it" so to speak. Until I asked God with a sincere heart to show me once and for all if He is real. He made me after all and so I figured He knows my doubting nature so He already knows what it takes for me to believe. So without me even knowing it God began to work in me and change me till I was brought to a place some time later (months) where I realized how just how much I am loved and also of my need of forgiveness. I surrendered everything to Him and just said God take me. Do with me as you want. Forgive me. Im yours. Jesus bought me already with His bood. Now He's Lord of my life. I will say Jesus absolutely and unequivocally changed my life from that moment on. He put a hunger for His word in me I never had, He put in me a desire to fellowship and be with believers that was completely not my nature. He put in me a desire to SING and praise Him which I never had my entire life !! A joy I never had knowing I was His. I spent the next 3 weeks in amazement thinking im losing it at the contrasts in my life from who I was. I'm still amazed every single day because, I KNOW what I was. I was all darkness. Till He intervened and brought me out of my pit into His wonderful light. The Holy Spirit is real. Jesus is real. Dont ever let this world feed you the lie that Jesus isnt real. He's real and He lives !! Whats happening in you right now if your even thinking about it is God is already working in your life. Ask him with a 100 percent committed heart to forgive you, and ask Him to put His spirit in you and come into your life and be LORD of your life, and then watch Him change you from the inside out. It takes a full surrenderance, a realization that your life is not your own. He WILL change you forever I promise. He wants all not 99% though. God Bless you.

We stopped reading the Bible in the assembly. 1Cor14. What is prophesy? Speaking the word of God, is it not? We have these commands to read the scripture publicly as well. Women being silent (except for singing) in the assembly. Women have left their place, in order to be recognized as the same worth as man. They are, we are both #1 in Worth. Made in the image of God, and Jesus died for both of us. In marriage and the church God has given man greater authority. Men did not TAKE this, God gave it to him! I submit, we have to get the supply train for the army back. This is Women, children, old folk, and animals. Can we be hospitable without our Women keeping the home fires burning? We learn obedience through the things we suffer. Just like Jesus did. But trust God. He will give us what we need to live. Give up your outside jobs Women. Look after your children and elders. Are we going to love God or money? It cannot be both! And see what God can/will do for you! Seek him first! With love,

You are only reading the parts of the Bible, that is typically taught by men, especially RC men. We are worth the same as men. As a women I do not submit to men. Read your Bible. Even Paul does not tell women to submit to men. Remember Jesus did not exclude women. Even for those days. Who was with him when He died. The women and John. NO Peter. Who did Jesus give the most important job to do in the Bible. The WOMEN. NOT his male disciples, they were all cowering in a room. HE had RISEN. The women told first. One sentence hidden in ACTS. Mary the mother of Jesus was a house leader. They didn't call them churches then. even Paul taught in a house. Even Paul had a female spiritual adviser, was it Lydia can't remember. When he talked about the problem with the women he was taking about a problem in a particular church. He talked about husbands and wives. Not men and women. He also told men to obey their wives. That is also never mentioned or is glossed over,. As for women singing that is not even in the Bible. We all sing the praises of God, men and women. You are right in one aspect men do shirk their jobs as husbands and as men. That started with Adam .

Ephesians 5:18-21 You are right in this, 'the sum of thy word is truth' Psalm119:160? Women are #1 in worth, same as men. But in authority in marriage and the church, we are #2. Jesus became #2 for us. He was 1 with God before. He learned obedience by the things he suffered. It is tough to serve Jesus Christ. Ken, how can the average Christian act on this now? If Gods judgement is upon the Churches and they are falling, I cannot see that we can do much about it as God has judged it, but thankfully there will always be a remnant of true Christians. .

A remedy for churches is this. REVELATION 18:4. The future generation is this. HOSEA 4:6... It would help if pastors and priests would teach what scripture declare what sin is. 1st John 3:4. But christianity teaches that the law has been done away with. This effect has spilled onto the streets..LAWLESSNESS. I was called out of men's religion. Isn't that what the word ECLESIA MEANS??? It would also help if people were sincere and acually had a love for truth. . It would also help to STUDY as commanded 2 Timothy 2:15. It would also help to PROVE 1st Thessolonians 5:21 and not swollow the koolaid being served from the pupit.. And it would also help to get off the MILK.!!! And mature in the word.. Is not the church a living organism and not buildings. There are places of worship. A building is not church. Is it a play on words. The thief on the cross never went to church. Maybe places of worship have changed for the worst, causing some christians to not attend anymore. Rather, staying home and doing their own Bible study.

One would hope so. But there are more and more folks who legitimately believe the earth is flat and covered by a big glass dome. Social media has actually served to bolster the extreme ignorance of reality. One can always find a pocket of abjectly stupid people just like them online and feel security. Why ever attempt to learn anything or take responsibility when the Bible tells you exactly what you must think and Sir Jesus is coming back "very soon" to save the day!

We complain about the bad things going on in the world - and there are many evil forces at work - but we only have ourselves to blame. Reading through the books of Kings and Chronicles in the Bible show clearly what happened to nations that turned away from God. Like it or not, this is HISTORY. The Bible has never been proven wrong. If only we could learn from our ancestors' mistakes and not let history repeat itself.

Jesus said love all, but do not condone their wrong behaviour. He himself took a whip to the men who were abusing His Father's house, the Temple. The Bible is God's word, His instructions, His guidance and His testimony to us, His children. It's the second most important thing God has given us. We should cherish it and live by it and be very careful not to add to it with our man-made traditions (such as Sunday keeping and the trinity doctrine).

In the last days men’s hearts will grow cold, they will say there is no God. Too many have been lost in these days, we can only prayer and witness that we can save as many as possible in these end times.

Let us all today pledge to never stand idly.

Don't just defend the Bible, but teach people how to have a real relationship with Jesus/Holy Spirit. The churches are a religious mess & often look very dead.
