If the episode of him AND Crabs inventing the formula is canon, you could basically no longer charge him for stealing, because how can you steal what you created? I mean yes, if a contract is made and ownership officially changes, that's possible but that's not the case xD

Plankton really is the ultimate villain of the SpongeBob series. One movie and he gets 3 death sentences. I can only imagine how many he'd have if the series had an established continuity.

@Animated Courtroom. I genuinely thought that for Plankton you were going to analyze every crime he committed in every single episode along with the movies (at least the OG/golden era seasons). He has committed some acts of terrorism, false imprisonment and enslavements, manipulations, business theft, etc. But then I figured that would take forever lol! But still an amazing video!!

If SpongeBob had an established continuity then most of these villains wouldn't even be on the street. Plankton later redeems himself in the 3rd movie so he should get a pardon (or at the very least community service) for that. Keep up the good work.

@@mariobroultimate1808 Fair point. If Nickelodeon ended SpongeBob back when the 1st movie aired, there would be no pardoning the tiny one-eyed menace. If anything, he would stay in jail for the rest of his days. No amount of cartoon logic (or in this case SpongeBob logic) will be able to help him.

I also suggest that he’d be charged with another terrorism charge from the other city setting, and some property destruction charges due to the hero chase and his ship causing so much damage with cannonballs, the anchor, and Patrick’s ice cream.

Poseidon was such a wimp of a villain here. Didn't even get a life sentence.

Yeah. Me too. I also kind of hated his sudden character redemption at the end. It felt super rushed and way too vague.

You also might have forgot that krabs took advantage of planktons fear of whales, forcing him into isolation and depression and near kicking the bucket. I don't know what sentence that would be for it?. And on the mutilation crime he did it on mass and caused it to spread all over the city. So that's likely a death sentence on that part.

@lianneroban9906 yeah he did torture Plankton driving him to suicide, that's why I gave him an attempted murder charge for that, and usually if there is no intentional death in a crime someone commits, I usually don't charge the death penalty for that thus is why I gave Krab's Mulalation charge a life sentence rather than death, but he did cause mass murder via killing and cooking his own kind into paddies, so he did get the death penalty for that

​@@alexb859The Krabby Patty formula is randomized in wingdings, gibberish and random dialects when we look closely at it in frames. It's unknown what the actual secret ingredient is in the formula. We did see another ingredient one time (friend or foe S5 episode) and that technically counts as selling species as food. The ingredient is a pinch of chum, He isn't cooking his own species though.

Honestly, the cartoon parts of the second movie weren’t that bad either. It only really got bad when it went into live action

I can only think of like one crime for Plankton:Stealing the formula or stealing the crown and maybe imprisonment for when he mind controls the customers with his bucket helmets

Also messing with the story would also be messing with the space time continuum and would be endangering the entire universe. So Burger Beard should have a greater sentence.

Poseidon is a monarch and thus it would not be false imprisonment or unlawful arrest as Spongebob and co were there under false pretences thus at the least trespassing. Not to mention that if it was unlawful for him to arrest/detain or otherwise punish people then that first movie should be added( where he assaulted and imprisoned Mr Krabbs to say nothing of the property damage to the krusty krabb, probably reckless endangerment for the reflected laser beam hitting the Hoff), specially since you used more then one movie for Plankton. I do not think Burgerbeard is culpable of grand larceny as he took the book from an abandoned ruin in which no one was alive( thus no owner or proof of ownership).

After watching all of these videos, I have to ask: How is reckless endangerment only worth 4 years but grand larceny is 25 years. Endangering the lives of others is worth nearly 5 times less than stealing a valuable item?
