​@Pongsifu The scary thing is how there are a non-trivial number of people who unironically don't believe those games originated in Japan. It is like their minds only equate Japanese games with "anime," when Japanese games dominated the post-crash scene up until the PS3/360 era. I think the worst of it though are the journalists who hate Japanese games, but will dickride From games for clout and because "they don't look Japanese," despite the design risks that From took would NEVER have been taken by a Western developer at the time.

I would like to see a Saints' Row game set in Japan, too! My favorite missions and storyline from Saints' Row 2 were The Ronin missions. I especially enjoyed the sword fights once I figured out how they worked lol I actually thought Junichi was a pretty cool character because he wasn't really in it for himself and was a loyal servant and right-hand man to Akuji and his father, probably like the son the leader (I forget his name) always wanted instead of Akuji.

Yes because the first playthrough unlocks a harder version of the game. I thought first play through was way too easy especially with a team

Well to be fair most of the Souls game were more European inspired in their setting. where Sekiro went Japanese and Bloodborne went Gothic Lovecraftian in their settings

@@YGeo Well Bloodborne is Gothic Victorian in a lovecraftian world, very old English vibes for the architecture and clothing. I'd say they are all very western apart from Sekiro, just look at all the dragons in the souls games they are all western style dragons.
