This touched the very heart of me because this WAS me. I came away from the relationship with no feelings of self-worth, no love for myself, and after a year I still fight those feelings every day. I no longer have the ability to trust, to put myself or my heart out there to find the one who will appreciate the woman that I am. If you're listening to this video or reading this comment, PLEASE don't let anyone take that from you. Once it's gone it's hard to regain, maybe even impossible. Love yourself and put no one before your own self-worth and peace of mind. If they truly love you and think you're worth it, you won't have to. ❤

I was in a relationship with someone great, but my intuition kept telling me to get out of it and I got anxious every time I would go see them because deep down, I knew he wasn’t right for me romantically. We were friends for a while before we dated and worked on trying to be friends after we broke up, but he just kind of ghosted on me and told me “he just needs time to do him”. Listen to your intuition. It told me to get out of so many situations before that I ignored and I ended up getting hurt. Now, I may have been left by one of my best friends, but I know that I am worthy of a type of love that makes me feel excited and have butterflies in my stomach and not the anxious type. I think in these type of videos, it can be easy to walk away from “bad” people. But it is just as hard to walk away from “good” ones. Trust yourself. Trust your heart and value it. You will find love. You must want to spend the rest of your life with yourself first.

kimberley ibale Stand in who you are, your standards and value. Thank goodness you didn’t settle just to become their a prop, a void filler. I don’t know but personally experienced the devastation from staying in the wrong place with the wrong man for way too long. Assumes all was good 20 years marriage children then he became someone I didn’t know, some days didn’t like who he was. Why was this happening and it’s not all of sudden it was my intuition I’d been ignoring. I’d been the wife who sacrificed when he didn’t, he started drinking more and more, this was 10 years ago we’d both joined Facebook and that was a catalyst in our relationship. I didn’t know his need to be validated and loved was as deep as it was. He stayed online with old friends and women he’d known years ago stroking his ego became a problem I saw wife and children weren’t priority and he’d miss meals and events for attention. Our world the life I thought he’d keep his promise to was a facade, anyone would do. I was a disposable broken and with teens I’d planned with therapist due to alcohol and verbal abuse that when I said leave I wouldn’t ever look back where he got a message I’d accept less and less and I’d be his launch pad doormat. That was 4 years he’s a drunk lost his job and doesn’t see his children but talks online to women all over the world and thinks he’s a God. It’s all I can do to forgive myself for doing my best at the time with what I knew based on years of letting one thing slip at a time, I’d become a people pleaser miserable at that. I’m alone in relationship status but I don’t have to carry anyone but me and I’ve learned who I am all over again. I would advise anyone to be vigilant and don’t sacrifice yourself or your standards it’s like predator prey, kind and vulnerable are meant for those who share the same with you.

I just had one of these experiences recently... I was with this girl for 3 yrs... The way I pictured her, was not the real... It's now that I have understood, that I was just an option... Only talked to me when I was the most exciting "thing" in her life... But now, she blames for some of her bad times, whereas I was the only one who supported her, gave her the mental calmness which she needed then... But now, because she doesn't need me, says hurtful things and then justifies the reason for saying those hurtful , stinging words... How I believed when she said that she loved me and will stay forever with me... I just feel that I am the one who is to be blamed as I believed her... From talking 4 hrs a day to me waiting for her message for the whole day then getting to talk with her for 5 mins, everything changed... I know I'm not the perfect one... But at least I apologized after I had done any mistake... Just felt like commenting about it..

This is so true. I really lowered my standards for someone recently and tolerated a lot which I shouldn’t have, it was clear they were a player but I always made excuses because I thought I couldn’t do better because I have a low opinion of myself. But I just have done better, and that’s made me realise I shouldn’t have settled for what I did before. Just because you have low self esteem it doesn’t mean you should settle for someone. You should find someone who actually shows interest in you rather than always talking about them self and tries to make time for you no matter how busy you are❤️❤️❤️

No one deserves to be ghosted. I know it's hard to forget, to let go the person you thought is your loml but trust me they doesn't even care in fact nobody do it's you yourself who can help yourself get over. Move on, *push yourself* everything takes time and I believe you can do this. Life is short after all :)

Forcibly accepting what doesn't actually exists, that really lowers the self-esteem of an individual, the rest comes later. So it is ok to be alone until the right person makes their way to someone's life.

It is exactly what I understood after a year and a half of an ultimate illusion. I thought by being nice to him he will treat me well and he will do good to me but none of this happened. He just saw me as weak and naive and he has all rights to humiliate me whenever he gets angry over anything and ignore me anytime he wants. It was not a healthy relationship at all, it was a mere nightmare and all thanks to ALLAH the almighty guided me to wake up eventually and rescue my self.
