@@afia9641 I have noticed this awkward loop as well, it doesn't seem to go away until you just stop loving people in the "conventional" sense. Not sure how, or why this comes to be, maybe people tend to chase "love", so if your chasing it from someone that isn't right, other people are as well.

I prefer to give, I feel better. I receive a lot of love from the universe, from God! It is always a ballance.

@@afia9641 I understand this happens most of the time but you have to recognise if that is genuine love. In relationships love is never one sided it's mutual understanding love and respect for each other. so if a person loves you and you don't have feelings for them it's okay there is no future compatibility between the two to be in a relationship the person must let go of that love if he denies to let go then that's not true love in this case you don't have to worry about loving that person back. And one that we feel in love but they don't have the same feelings for us is most common thing happens while finding our perfect partner but you don't have to worry in this case if the person you fell in love is compatible with you then there is High chances of him falling in love with you in the future or if not then you have to let go of that person.

It's not about giving love to recieve love. It's about connecting with others on a deep level. When I am kind, loving and caring to others and sweet and it doesn't open the doors for deep connection between us....I find that to be hard to deal with. A part of me has given up. Seems as if everyone is busy or all talk or just plain negative.

I'm in the same position. I give so much to friends and family, I feel as if I'm not receiving much back. I can do things for people many times over whether it's potential lovers or people I care about. But when I need something, I feel like I'm on my own. It can make me believe that I don't deserve an authentic type of love and affection. I've recently wondered if im too smart for my own good or am I unlucky when it comes to love. Sometimes people want more than you can give and it can be hard to know where to draw the line but once I noticed how my family gets into meaningless fights, the line was easier for.me to see. We will always have obligations to the people we care about, but we also have obligations to ourselves. Now, everyone in my family including me wants different things. I want to go.out in the country and discover the kind of person I want to be.

No two persons can get into the same shoe at the same time and experience the same thing. Each of us may have an understanding of how love works, or ought to work, in any given situation, but it is the Mind of God, the Holy Spirit, who helps and guides us to improve upon our ability to love, as God in Jesus, loved. Having loved His own He loved them till the end... That's the love of God in action in Jesus Christ.

Hey Soumya I feel you, your devastation and heartache. Protect yourself and keep your heart safe. Try to do activities involving creative things or some kind of art. I love someone so much that I am hating myself for putting myself through some ugly situations for him and still unable to come out of him. I love him but I am torn apart by him. It sucks very bad. Why would someone stir all the right feelings knowingly and even tell I love you back to me many number of times and when they find another woman tell me back that they just saw me and loved me as just a good friend. Why to mess with head and inflict such trauma and pain and cause emotional damage when they can simply break up and even after all these he tells me he loves me but not like the love they had for his ex and now with new woman. What does even love mean to such kind of people??? He feels guilty for hurting me and putting me through his shit. Why can't he ease my pain atleast by telling me to leave or say it's over and there's no more love??? Why still playing with my heart??? I go to temples just to pray for him and do archana on his name on his birthdays. He misused and indirectly abused my genuine love, madness for him, my kindness and care. He made every little thing complex. He made even expecting bare minimum things like loyalty, protecting sensitive sentiments and my everything very complex and alien things. It hurts being a friend as well as a lover and everything. It's a game for such people. They think only they have heartbreaks, pain, journeys, love, he is very unfair, blind and deaf towards me. I tolerated and accepted many unconventional things with love for him. He totally destroyed me. He knows that too and still humiliated me when I was still trying to process the recent betrayal he did to me, he humiliated the simplest form of me I was presenting keeping aside my dignity, self respect and ego. He fell from my grace then, he had lost my respect. When he cannot even take care of that raw form of mine, when he cannot treat me with respect and I was sobbing and sobbing and could not even be able to speak properly, my fighting for US and me he saw it like annoyance and harrasment. He looked very cheap and arrogant there. His heart looked very ugly there. I accepted every flaw, darkness and light in him, I was there with him at his lowest and darkest phases of his life but he could bot even listen to me and tolerate my weakest and lowest point of mine even for few days and humiliated me and called me negative and derogatory names, I was super shocked hearing all the shitty things he kept on yelling at me while I was sobbing and he was breaking my spirit and heart piece by piece like a butcher. He killed my soul then. I still forgave him and he arrogantly said he doesn't need my forgiveness, how cruel he must be!!! The cause of all chaos and damages was himself alone, he did very wrong to me and I was still trying to accept parts of it and trying to make myself stand by myself but he kept on breaking my heart and legs even to stand for myself. I always used to tell him that muthu I would still be loving you even when you hate yourself and would be standing for yourself even when you could not stand for yourself. He injured that person in me. I used to pray God to take me before he takes him or on the day he takes him. My love was like devotion and commitment for life. I expected atleast treating me with grace and respect but he made things very ugly that I cannot even stand for myself and by myself now. I kept telling him he could have broken up with me when he realised he is in love with another woman. But he says he loves me but he loves her more. He is playing football with my heart. He complicated every simple thing of my life. I made him the rest of my life and now I'm so lost in the darkness gifted by him to me. I'm scarred for life. He is merciless, unkind and brutal at heart. Never trust a man or a woman who has multiple hearts for multiple women or men. Not good for any, it mentally deranged me. I'm very disoriented now. I still love him but I don't want him. He is harmful to my mind. I would become a tragedy by still accepting his request to stay as friend to him after all these. He still accuses me that because of my wrong expectations he is losing me who had been a strong support and comfort. Can't he see I'm also just another human being who is sensitive and who is loving him and still taking all the shit??? He could have let me be just only a friend when I asked him myself. He assured he loves me and made me feel so many and we shared so much of ourselves to each other and still he doesn't have the ability that he is causing great pain to me even after I am telling him. Why why why??? He could sense others' hurt and others'well being but why he fails to understand mind even after explaining. He wants me to be his everything but he cannot even protect my bare minimum sentiments and concerns, no minimum emotional security, always leaving me in anxiety about him and my relationship with him. I hate myself for still loving him and still trying to understand him. He doesn't want to listen to what he is doing to me because it makes him feel more guilty. He is coward in my case. Muthu I love you and I hate you too but I hate myself more, I hate for being everything to you, I hate for not keeping boundaries between us, I just hate hoe you talked ugly to me, the one you promised to that you won't make her cry because making me cry would make you principally weak. You broke everything you said, you lied to me, you betrayed me, you broke my spirit which all you said you would never do to me. You said I was your treasure and now you don't even treat me respectfully. Kya hua re tere ko. You are mistreating me. You destroyed us. You ruined all of us. All of the beautiful things. You destroyed the trust, comfort, joy and confidence. Can't you even face guilty for me by atleast listening to my pain inflicted by you, don't you have atleast that heart, don't you ever apologise me in yourself when you are alone because I know that you would do that and that's why I said I forgive you for everything but still you are very rude and arrogant that you said you don't need my forgiveness. You are very utterly selfish and mean. You had never shown these even to your male best friends who had betrayed you. You know how much I love you and treasure you. Is this how you would lose me by devaluing me. Everyday every night every minute every second my mind, my thoughts revolved around you, how could you even talk to me like that. It takes my lifetime to even heal from the wounds you caused to me. I won't accept you now. You know how bad you have been towards me after she entered your life and after I started talking about ourselves. It's very cheap and bad of you for avoiding me and my talks and questions and fears and insecurities. You could have saved me from all of these by just simply breaking up with me. Everything else feels kinder to me re, even you telling me that you don't love me anymore or breaking up and ending our relationship than elongating it and talking ugly, demeaning and humiliating things to me, bullying me how I was crying and talking, imitating and making fun of me at my weakest and most vulnerable point. That was very evil of you. I never deserved to be spoken to like that. Never. Don't talk destroying things ever to the persons who love you and still with you. Don't play with your blessings and good things in your life. It was never needed for you to talk such ugly things. Mera dil ro raha hain. I'm bleeding inside because of the wounds caused by you.

I love to create and to give. At the end of a relationship I felt bad because I had given so much but didn`t feel appreciated. I wondered if I owed the person something from a previous life, if I would receive from someone else, if I had simply been a fool. A close friend told me that he had seen what I had done and that it had been life changing for my ex. But really it wasn`t about him, karma, or exchange. It was that I get to be the person who has so much love and abundance that I can give continuously. I walked away from that conversation feeling that the treasure lies within me. It doesn`t matter if the person on the outside feels appreciative. It matters that I have more and as I give I feel more expansive.

Never give up people I was 40ibs over weight I wanted to die i wanted to give up I went to my comfort food which was sugar and I would binge out on it every night crying myself to sleep but now I've changed but it took a while now im off sugar hitting the gym working out taking care of my body

Sadly, few people have ever done anything for me AT All. I’ve been the ultra-giver to family and so-called friends. I remember a girlfriend I dated many years ago, I was crazy about her and as a result I bought her a car, helped pay for her college tuition and always paid when we went out. One day we were at a local delicatessen, I was ordering some sandwiches for us and carelessly forgot my credit card at home( 1st time ever) I felt awkward; she pulled out some cash and paid for the sandwiches. On our way home, she causally said “At some point you are going to give me the money for the sandwiches, right?”...this shocked the hell out of me!! I’ve often noticed that GIVERS are so busy giving that rarely does the occasion occur when the other person has to pay and as a result, we find out much too late that all along we were dealing with a petty, cheapskate USER! The key is, eventho somehow you'll get back what you give (just act of nature, God's Grace), when u give, don't expect anything in return. Give sincerely, consider it's gone. With this, less headache, less heartache. Simple as that.

@@meghnaaitha1046 We can offer Our Love and Help to others.. But sometimes it will not be received and taken by the manner in which that Gift of Love was given .. We then have to Learn to Walk Away and Protect Ourselves for Those that Do Need Our Love and Support along Our Journeys 💛 This Lesson has took me years to realise after Many Hurtful experiences..Still learning sometimes even now.. Very good topic here. It's best to love and invest in people smart and in a healthy way. Sometimes it's good to give and not expect anything in return. Then there are times and situations you expect love to be extended to you from those you have extended love. Knowing when and were, what's healthy and what's not will help you mentally and understand what's happening in your life.

@@afia9641 I think the best we can do is to be grateful to them totally and try to reciprocate the care and respect back just as any other human being rest all may happen automatically like who knows you fall for that person after we all love to get love and care from someone and realizing the thing which you just said is even a bug thing for many and you saying this is itself a sign that you care. Also I have never experienced this so dunno if my words are totally accurate or not.
