I love how each of the evolutions of Bulbasaur represent the three different types of rods. Bulbasaur is the Old Rod. Ivysaur is the Good Rod. And finally, Venasaur is the Super Rod. Very clever.

As a kid I was confused that I couldn't simply fly up the waterfalls. I mean if a pidgey can carry you across an entire region, it doesn't take much to imagine a Salamence could fly you up a few 100 feet.

@Scormern GoW 1-3: Kratos is an incredibly powerful God Killing Machine. GHOST OF SPARDA! Also Kratos: Cant jump or climb ledges more than 4ft tall and dies from a 10ft fall. Gravity is the God-Killer's killer apparently

You know, now I actually want to see such mechanics in games or at least in romhacks. Don't know how much difficult they would be to implement though. They would offer a whole other dimension to pokémon games...

I like the mountain climbing mechanic, maybe it needs a form of stamina limiting like breth of the wild to not be totally broken.

the stamina amount could be based on the hp gadge. (it wouldn't lower it but its current value would be the stamina you start with for the climb) this way a tired Pokémon can't climb far. level would also be important.

Hah, the Swampert one is essentially Scarlet and Violet riding mechanic.

This would have made the Pokemon game so much better if you was able to use your Pokemons actually get around levels/block and enemies

This is basically how Pokémon Ranger did it, always thought this would be a great way to do it in the main games too.

Am I the only one who was expecting Wally to get swarmed by Zubat at the end? I love the Frisky Minions part. There's a similar thing in Gen 9, but not as hilarious as this video. Gengar pranking Giovanni though... 🤣 Oh & at least the water Pokémon wasn't left behind when Red used Fly to get over the waterfall.

It’s the Wally waiting part that gets me. 😂😂😂 guess I don’t have to have a final battle against his scrub self 😂😂😂

Also this is probably why they went away from hm. Honestly enough I thought it was kinda annoying at times. Cause you had to either have a HM slave or give a move a lot away to those hm. Given some of the hm aren’t bad like surf, strength and fly being at the time some of the strongest move the type had to offer. But then you get like cut, flash, rock smash… 😒

They have time to make new pokemon games but apparently not enough time to add these features

That is a good thinking outside the box, and more realist, sadly the programmers are not going to do it but at last is more useful that the special pokemon in last gen

That area once I was playing in hoenn and one of the electrode pokemon near the masterball were selected before obtaining the masterball and the battle happened but not normal the electrode was blue for some reason only to realize it was shiny. We tried to catch it with normal pokeballs but it popped out of them and used explosion to end the battle and fail on catching a shiny pokemon.

I wish they would bring HMs back… HEAR ME OUT. As a side part of the Pokémon. If you have a Pokémon big enough to surf, you can. If you have fighting/ rock type Pokémon you can break rocks and so on. Just for exploring since the map is now open world anyways.

Ghastly in Season 1 fused a Venusaur and Blastoise together to create Venustoise, a pokemon so powerful Ash and Pikachu gave up without even trying. Ghastly is a reality warping demi god. and that power is never used again, ever. and it wasnt an illusion because no pokemon has ever had an illusion power until Zoroark.

And this is why we have scarlet and violet which did away with all the illogical stuff and lets our pokemon collect items and fish for us
