Man of Steel is a movie that saved me. It came out when I had severe health problems in high school. I was bed ridden for month after month. This music genuinely saved me and reminded me that I arrived on this planet for a reason. We all have. No matter where we come from. Everyone viewed this movie as dark and depressing. I believe they’ve missed the point. It is a story of hope. Even the realistic tragedies Superman endured couldn’t prevent him spreading hope to everyone in the end. We all stumble, but we learn to pick ourselves up.

thank you for sharing this - I too had a similar story in high school. This movie gave me so much hope.

Man of steel is a philosophical movie. The upbringing he gets from both of his parents is wholesome. I watch this movie atleast once in a month. This movie brings me back to my senses. This movie makes me value my parents even more and appreciate their love towards me. I am in my early twenties and sometimes I let my hormones take the driving seat, which ends up hurting my parents. This movie brings me back to the driving seat. This movie made me worship my parents as god's. I am truly grateful and i have to make it all worth doing something significant in my life. Thank you Zack Snyder for this movie. I would have loved to see more, but i am glad that this at least happened.

Cavill as Superman, aestheticallly, is perfection. In 50 years…he will still be what the dream of what Superman was for us. His performance…it’s not even that it was “perfect,” if you told me - he’s actually him…that’s how much it resonated.

@@camreese Reeves was great in his own way. Honestly, all the men who've played Superman did well. Some have just suffered from poor writing. Cavill's Superman/Clark was too dreary, when Cavill had every ability to play him correctly. Meanwhile, actors like Reeves and Tyler Hoechlin are equally great, and had/have great writers who actually understand Clark as a person. I adore Cavill, think he's nothing but done dirty every way he turns, and is extremely good in every role when the writers are good, too.

Hans and Henry made man of steel more than a movie…… they made it a experience, a feeling, an aspiration 💪🏻

i watched man of steel again today and i'm still not sure if i like the movie or not. what i'm sure of is that the music (and henry cavill's superman) made the film that much better. already while watching i noticed some parallels to interstellar and apparently i wasn't the only one who thinks that the two soundtracks fit together perfectly. thank you for making it come true for us to hear this musical baby ;)

That's somewhat the charm of Man of Steel is for me, it's a good memory from afar, but watching it, it's beautiful and really messy? It's a little senseless, coldly warm, disrespectful and it makes for endless discussion, music is beautiful though, end of story on that

Wtf is there not to like about the movie!!!?? It's not campy like a lot of superhero movies today. It has a serious tone that takes the character and villain seriously in a realistic setting. It has countless life lessons and a father/son story to die for.💯⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Wtf is there not to like about it!???

Man of steel was a great movie in my opinion. They set the tone early and managed to keep viewers engaged, the villains and dialogue carried the torch til the end.

These movies are peak for me. 2013 and 2014. Mid-twenties, fresh out of college. Boundless possibilities, and the music still brings me back to that bright optimism whenever I need it to. So thankful for this wonderful music and two great films.

I'll have to hear Dune OST before I can comment but I didn't find it on Knight or stellar level but Academy did. It's hard to say how films win Oscar. Godfather & Good Bad & Ugly & Once Upon a time in the west didn't which is a crime as these are mythic soundtracks

Reading other comments, I was also in the hospital when this came out… Delirious from sedation & sinking into a dark hole. This movie & soundtrack helped me during a grueling six month recovery & learning to walk again. 👍

I listen to this all the time and I can sincerely say that this music has played a major role in saving my life

Stumbled upon this song today and I’m glad I did. These two films happen to be my to favorite flicks. I lost my dog who I spent every morning with this past Saturday. This song definitely helps ease the pain.

when i think of this song, it gives me a warm feeling that tells you that there is always hope, and we all know what our future's ly ahead of us and things will get even better like they used to be.

Interstellar is my favorite movie of all time. The grandeur of the film visually as well as the plot are just so so perfect to me. I love the characters and how the story is this mission to save humanity but at its core is a story of a father and a daughter. The music deserves all the praise it has garnered. Man of Steel cemented my love for Superman. Like Interstellar, Hans Zimmer really tied everything together perfectly with the score. I love both films and I am thankful I was born in the generation that was able to watch them first hand

I love Man of Steel. Not only is it a wonderful story of an immigrant trying to find his place in the world, but the soundtrack is timeliness! I can listen to it all day.

I remember first time seeing Man of Steel in early years of my college enrollment (7 years ago). It was a terrible movie, to me....I was so biased against it, I thought Zack Snyder had no idea what he was doing.... But in recent years, I re watched it....I was just so, so wrong... Zack Snyder gets super heroes, let alone Superman. It's a different film altogether because it tries to get us to understand the life of an outsider, who is endowed with a curse...but turns them into blessings, gifts; life. He takes on his own kind, and says no to them. He chooses Earth. He removes himself from his past, and embraces the opportunity and life that this new world will offer him. He no longer hides and cowers in the shadows, he uncovers who he truly is for humanity....he is a savior, a rising hope in the shape of an S: Kal, the house of El. He is truth, justice, and the American way...he is Superman, the Man of Steel. May we all aspire to rise up and be met with challenges, and overcome those challenges with great perseverance. May we shun our hearts away from hatefulness, darkness, and dread/sorrow....and embrace one another again. The world is awakening to something big, I can feel it....can you too, my friend?

Great song. Fell asleep to it last night laying on the couch with my puppy. 😊

Best Superman movie. They highlighted his moral scale throughout the whole movie. In the end he had to stumble and fall by taking a life. By crossing the line, Snyder's Kal-El develops mercy as we know Superman to be. It's character development and what we as an audience should find more believable and relatable. A tone Nolan perfected with the Dark Knight series. Btw Shannon's performance with Zod's conviction was masterful and show stealing in my opinion. Shrinking the gaps between fantasy and believability was the greatest trait about the Nolan-verse. Lawrence Fishburne's line, "Can you imagine how people on this planet would react if they knew there was someone like this out there?", was purely subliminal 4th wall breaking and was the absolute defining goal of the whole movie. I think it is criminally underrated and absolutely spectacular storytelling. Which in my opinion prior to The Dark Knight series, I thought UNBREAKABLE was the greatest superhero movie and was steeped in this "fantasy breaking through to reality" element that just gives your imagination exactly what it craves. This movie and sountrack not only made me feel like my child self was next to me watching and appreciating, it's speaks to you as an adult and the hardships you've endured. To still rise to be the best version of yourself despite setbacks and pressure. Someone with or without your knowledge that sees you enduring and pushing forward may be inspired. This movie had levels and undertones that's lacking in all MCU and not appreciated by the young minds who compare. Warner Bros butchering of DC is the biggest heartbreaking missed opportunity of an easy home run setup by Nolan and Snyder. Rant over. See ya'll in the sun 🦸‍♂️

❤❤❤ #MoS is perfection and the soundtracks by Hans Zimmer are as well… #ZackSnyder and his movies are beyond amazing and I wonder him and #ChristopherNolan are friends and visionaries alike. Music has to follow the same level of artistry

If anyone ever decides to read All-Star Superman, try doing so while listening to this. I swear, this song was made for that awesome graphic novel, it brought me to tears a couple times.

This is by far the best piece of relaxing music I’ve heard

One of the most beautiful tracks ive ever heard. The only sad part is how short the (loop) is. I wish the entire track by itself was longer and had a little more viarity to it before it repeated itself.

Christopher Reeves was a horrible human being. When he was paralyzed he wanted to harvest a product from new born babies that would allow him to possibly walk again. He pushed hard to have a law passed allowing it, obviously it wasn't allowed. Bad guy.

Just found your channel. This is just what I needed to study for a very difficult test. The Inception and Interstellar is pure fucking gold!!! Since Interstellar is a great backdrop, have you done an Interstellar and Arrival/Nature of Daylight/ Or Inception and Nature of Daylight?! GREAT WORK!!!

I dig these connections. If they can make Lex a competent villain and not a good it would be excellent. The ah-ha emotional beat in All-star is phenomenal. It would be foolish to miss that. Also, I believe the excellent title choice Superman Legacy will coincide with the same ending that All-star has. Superman will remain a spiritual guide for earth. A world without superman could be a great thread

I think it’s such a shame they didn’t come out with a MOS 2.

It's just amazing, someone might have mentioned this already, However, these two stories encompass the same origin of Home worlds Destroyed near the beginning of each film/comic book. When this dawned on me, less than 30 mins into listening to this masterpiece, I truly wonder if it was intended by this Audiographer?

I lost a lot of my tension in the first 10 minutes. I'm going to lay down and relax., Listen to this.
