I honestly think that Douma and Kotoha would have became a couple if she didn’t run away. Douma was fond of her and had intended to keep her alive until she died of natural causes. He also killed her abusive husband and mother-in-law when they came to him after Kotoha ran away from them. Manga stated that he found them noisy but I like to believe he did it for Kotoha lmao. Kotoha also seem to be fond of Douma as well. The taisho secret drawing them together was so cute 😭
