It is indeed a quick meal; I’ve made similar meals, just without the chili oil and Thai red chili peppers. I have a GI disease and can only tolerate minor chili pepper heat for now. I use either dried Kashmiri red chilies or dried and deseeded guajillo chilies in place of the Thai bird’s eye or dried cayenne peppers in many recipes and they work for me. I’d eat aburaage all the time if I could, but I have to go to my Asian market to stock up. I bet extra firm smoked/spiced tofu would work well here too.

Hi Seonkyoung, I really love your channel, recipes and all the effort you put into your content and making it easy for novices to follow. I've been cooking alot of your recipes the last few months and really enjoying it. I was wondering if you knew any Korean or Asian recipes that you would associate with Christmas? I'd love to attempt something for the holidays this year and combined it with will for the most part be a scottish christmas dinner. I know its not a major holiday in Kora but i figured there still might be some beautiful dishes that only get cooked on special occasions. Any tips would be appreciated! thank you :)

Lol maybe she shouldn't have convinced her viewers that she was for a moral stance in regards to eating plant based and then decided to throw it away because she wants to travel and eat whatever she wants (at the expense of animals of course). Funny how privileged of position she is in with a walk-in closet, big house, and ability to travel around the world yet eating plant based would be way too hard - as if she doesn't have the money and resources to seek out plant based food abroad (which tends to be cheaper in asian countries lol)

Omg you’re so brave w those Thai chili flakes. I once made the mistake of trying to make chili oil w just Thai ones, using the steeping method, and we had to open every window in the house to let all the chili fumes out. We were all coughing, and when I was tasting it, even I, who loves level 15 hot on a scale of 1-10, couldn’t take it 😂.

You can. It support a claim of protein deficiency with any scientific journal or paper bc it doesn’t exist. In fact people eat wayyyyy to much protein and usually animals which is entirely detrimental to your health. Literally every food has protein and rice and beans is complete in all amino acids as well.
