Tim's car is so unique.

This car just reminded me of a car similar to it that was in California. But that one had a 03/04 Mach 1 engine in it. Love both cars

I LOVE the entire Mach 1 theme Ford definitely missed out on more specialty 79-93 models than they built

They had kind of alot of specialty models problem most of them just had stock drivelines like the Saleen cars the asc Maclaren cars the 90 green 7 up cars the 84 "gt350" all those cars for the most part just had stock drivelines. It wasn't until the 93 cobra we actually got a specialty mustang that had more oomph under the hood but it was still kind of underwhelming considering. The cobra should have had a 351 in it with a tremec 3550 like the 95 r had now THAT would have been badass and way better than a normal 5.0. They had a few special mustangs they were just underwhelming on drivelines basically normal gts in a dress. Like the newer 03-04 cobra and 07 up gt500s they had totally different drivelines and more potential. The boss has a special motor compared to the normal gt of the same year. The 03-04 Mach had a better motor than normal 2v of the day the 4v is far better 60 hp more stock and with mods the gap widens. Just a better engine. I think a special car should have a special unique driveline not just a gt with decals or whatever like alot of these special models seem to be.

If it was flat black i could understand not keeping it that color, alot of people made that mistake even wraps flat black but a good base clear shiny black to me you cant beat that color on a fox

Sorry to post a year after your comment, but I’m wondering the same thing. I’m going to guess not functional because he’s got the stock throttle body coming out the side of that tubular GT40 intake and the pipe looks like it’s going somewhere else. Then again, if it’s not functional, why bother routing the intake tube from the shaker to the fender like he did? I so confuse…
