This might be stupid, but since these will be very small bodies then (in a 'planet' scale), won't they have very weak gravity? (Yes) next to that. Because their weak gravities won't they lose their atmospheres? And because you said the cores possibly solidify they'll also lose their magnetic fields which all mean disaster for life. Like I love your videos, but you missed quite a few key points here.

To truly make a Sci-fi scenario (this is my idea) I would say that the continents would have been planets from the start, orbiting around a new star (similar to the Trappist 1 System). Sprinkle a few extra lakes or seas with the leftover ocean water (heck, even add some small oceans to warmer continents/planets). This would allow for life to evolve, intelligent life maybe. I could imagine that there could be different intelligent species on these planets. Or at least different variations on humans.

Instead of the theoretical planets being mostly land, it's Proportional. So you put north America, it has the same shape of land, and it's surrounded by water, 70%. That way each planet is bigger based on the continent size with the same proportion of water.
