Welcome to Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu! In today's episode, we have an in-depth and provocative conversation with our guest, Dave Rubin. From political power plays to personal reflections, this episode covers it all. Dave opens up about a near-death experience that changed his perspective, balancing fatherhood with professional commitments, and why he supports certain political figures over others.
We dive into the complexities of Biden’s cognitive decline and the media’s narrative control. Dave gives his candid views on the Democratic Party's pursuit of power, the implications of money printing, and the true cost of war. We explore the Israel-Palestine conflict, the foundational values of America, and the implications of immigration policies on national identity.
Dave also reveals his thoughts on potential presidential candidates, like RFK's impact on political dynamics, and offers a candid look at Trump’s achievements and faults. Adding depth to our discussion, we address the moral and ideological divides affecting the United States and dig into controversial topics, including diverse religious integration, socialism, and international politics.
Join us for a thought-provoking episode that challenges conventional wisdom and pushes the boundaries of political and cultural discourse. Don’t miss this episode where we confront the uncomfortable truths and explore the profound questions shaping our world today.

I watched a lecture by that scientist, and was terrified by what he failed to see from the incident with the companies troop…they ended up fully dependent on the scientists for food. All the alphas that were willing and able to go in search of new food sources died. The now matriarchal troop was unwilling to go in search of food and the scientists had to put them down when they left, because they were now dependent. So yes, you can change culture, but that culture may in fact kill the society. Shocking that a scientist missed this, but it seems to have contradicted what he thought was good, so his ignored it.

It is a question of culture, again. I can guarantee that you will not be welcome in a Japanese home if you don't take your shoes off... this is not racism. I am absolutely amazed how Tom can’t grasp just the economic toll of adding millions and millions of people to social security, welfare, and the economic systems in our nation that illegal immigration has done. Housing shortage? 20M less people would help that. Minimum wage? Free markets would dictate a fair livable wage. Inflation? More people is more people spending money here. More competition for the same resources causes prices to rise. For such an insightful guy he hasn’t taken 1 moment to think sheer economics of illegal immigration.

The issue with Dave Rubin is that he wants to come off as a smart intellectual with valid ideas but everything he spoke about in this video was based off emotion, biased opinion, and just outright wrong facts. NOTHING he said about the economy was even remotely factual ("I see everything at the grocery store getting more expensive so it is definitely the presidents fault".... lol what?), EVERYTHING he said about Palestine was from emotion and biased opinion. He had very little knowledge of the reality of the political process and how policies work to change our system. He had ZERO clue about how interest rates and mortgages work. What was the point of this interview? To what purpose did it serve? There is nothing to walk away with here. There are no facts, no evidence, no new insights to work from and help us expand our worldview. I'm all for giving individuals with different opinions a platform if they come in with at least data, facts, and evidence to back their claims and opinions - but Dave Rubin is just a non-sympathetic, bigoted, ignorant man who acts like an intellectual but spews outright wrong opinions he claims as facts. Tom there is no insight to gain from these kind of guest. Please bring in people that can actually speak with facts, clarity, and evidence so at least we can all learn something.

Their VERY FIRST act coming here is to commit a crime. There is a "legal" process for people to become citizens so support and encourage that. As far as "asylum" goes, there is a very clear standard of what is considered reasons for seeking asylum and MANY of these people wouldn't qualify but we are just lumping them all in as asylum seekers but they aren't. Not any more his fault than the rest of congress voting for borrowing more currency. But this isn't the only way currency gets created. Any person/business that goes to a bank and seeks a loan is also creating currency through the fractional reserve banking principals. I guess if you’re voting Trump or Biden, you will never mention the person who “Should” be president. RFKJR. It’s sad. The worst is yet to come. Whether Trump or Biden.

Because most of us who are conservative love Trump and we love his policies and we don't understand what RFK's policies are the only thing I've heard him say and I do agree with most of what he says is that he's going to go after the pharmaceutical companies and that's great they are scam artists and they are burning all of us and the medical industry is so screwed up here but I have no idea how he thinks on geopolitics or other stuff the fact that he was a Democrat before scares me because the current Democrat policies are insane and I don't know how radical he's going to be towards these types of policies So no I wouldn't vote for him Trump is our guy He's been president before he has a track record of success his policies were outstanding and our country was way better off and a world was way better off when he was president let's say we get JFK and he does a great job on the pharmaceuticals but we end up in World war 3 cuz he doesn't know how to handle situations like Trump does

I’ll never understand how seemingly smart people can support a personal injury/environmental lawyer who got wealthy from bogus lawsuits not actually backed by evidence and rely on the ignorance/paranoia of juries. RFK Jr has been a large factor in slowing advances in farming technology that actually makes farming LESS toxic and more efficient. I can NEVER support that grifter.

His lawsuits had enough evidence to be successful in court. He also is a leading advocate for sustainable agriculture. On his podcast he’s interviewed many of the leading practitioners of regenerative agriculture and part of his campaign launch had him hosting a round table discussion with six further regenerative farmers who have made farming less toxic and more efficient. You either have fallen for the lies of big-ag and the agrichemical industry or you are knowingly spreading misinformation. RFK Jr is the biggest threat to the agrichemical industry.

The lack of in-depth knowledge of the situation in France is very annoying. First of all, the interviewee confuses presidential and legislative elections. It's not Marine le Pen who's getting elected or not, it's her party's representatives in government. Second, there are extremely important aspects that he has no clue about, perhaps understandably because he doesn't live in France and doesn't have skin in the game - but then he should not be giving his uninformed opinion. Marine le Pen stated that there would be national preference for jobs and benefits, and even worse, that dual nationals would be excluded from key government posts. The problem is that the Rassemblement National's definition is so vast that it would include all French children of mixed marriages. Already there are approximately five million dual nationals in France who vote. Add to that number all the French nationals who are pure French but have offspring with someone with a different nationality so the child is a dual national ... do you realize how far this overt and over-the-top discrimination can go?

I watched this video until Dave expressed his gratitude of the guy killing an intruder and the John Wayne response of the police in Florida. I suggest that Dave stays in the US, as he clearly does not have a clue what is happening outside the US. I do not understand why Americans only think about themselves, first, before they consider other people. Let me be honest, that by judging US foreign policies and their 'superior' interference with other (to them lesser) people, is the one reason why I would never visit that country. Everything, simply feels, horrible and fake about the US. Even his support towards Israel - to the world as an uggly racist state - is unbelievable, considering all the horrors we have seen through social media. Why is it so difficult for Americans to try and live peaceful and in a co-orperative manner with other people on the planet? And what about the uggly attitude about immigrants? Are they not the people that are prepared to do jobs that the average American is too lazy or too important to do? Sad character, this Dave - but I like the way that you, Tom, engage people in trying to get some picture of what is going on. I suggest that the Americans should try and live a bit more amongst the people that they deem as lesser human beings, it would certainly open their minds.

Average working class American citizens do not fit your opinion of America. Maybe in the progressive big cities, …but not rural America. That is where the common American citizens live who fought, bled and died for those around the world who could not defend themselves. Immigration proves that there are still more coming to America than leaving! …where else could they possibly go?! Take a look at the immigration policies of other countries and compare!

@@jaredgrubb30 I did, eventually, and saw even more right-wing rubbish from that guy. Obvious, the average American, who thinks of himself that he is better than the rest of the world, of which he knows very little. Shameful comments about immigrants, and then to consider that his ancestors were immigrants themselves, also, btw. from the violent type. What a short memory, and how typical!

I lived in California for 50 years and most of that time they said there was 11 million illegals in the USA. That would mean for at least 35 years everytime someone snuck in 1 left. Thats not likely. My family was deported in the 40's back to Canada including my brother who was born in NYC. My parents were told your illegal, he's illegal. When they came back legally all the kids had to get a green card to work.

Given the uncertainty, one could incorporate safe-haven assets. Going long on U.S. defense stocks like Lockheed, Raytheon and Northrop Grumman could be a solid option, considering the geopolitical landscape.

I agree. Defense stocks do well in times of geopolitical instability, as long as there's no financial fraud. Defense ETFs help spread risk by investing in different companies in the sector.

While defense stocks and ETFs are smart choices, don’t forget about the historical role of gold during uncertain times. Its value tends to rise as a hedge against geopolitical risks. How about allocating a portion of the potfolio to gold?
