I have the tac glasses, they're slightly better than CVS brand sunglasses Edit, the "tac flip", and they do mostly fit over glasses. They do not "enhance colors"

It's an E-1B Tracer, you an tell because of the radar dome. It is much larger than the slender disk on the newer E-2 Hawkeye. Originally named the WF-2, it was renamed in 1962 to the E-1B. Also you can find a video of this exact plane on display on KZread lol.

"He's running away to look for ecstasy now."😂 Seriously though, I'm a flashlight nerd and I was totally stoked to buy one of these a few years ago. It's definitely not as durable as they say though. My wife used it outside to do something, and since they do all that crap to it on the commercials she figured it wouldn't be too big a deal to use it as a hammer for a few pounds. And she's totally right! If you can drop it out a damn helicopter you should be able to smack something with it a couple times and it'd be fine. However, following this incident it pretty much had shaken baby syndrome. Just ended up tossing it. Disappointing.

I have one of these, got it as a gift at some point. I dropped it and the little control board inside broke connection and the flashlight quit working, I soldered the battery terminal directly to the LEDs and it still works, but no more SOS mode obviously. I highly doubt it would survive a drop from a helicopter and still work, the chinese control board inside is horrible quality. My LED model maglite on the other hand still works after all these years, I've actually used it as a hammer in a pinch. If you want the golden standard in durable flashlights just pick up a maglite, the old school metal style ones of course, which they still make in the USA now with LEDs.

@@DMAX-tp4pc Sucky connections indeed, the piece that broke off inside of mine was the entire control chip. Hopefully nobody ever puts an 18650 into mine (they're compatible) because the battery protection circuit is bypassed directly to the LED lol. I've been in the market for a good larger size durable LED flashlight for awhile. I currently have one of those older police style full sized maglites, but the newer model with the LED bulb in it. Tough flashlight but the beam pattern isn't great and I can never keep D cells in stock for it. You seem to know a lot about flashlights, what would you recommend for a good larger size LED flashlight? Something with an adjustable beam, or at least a lens actually designed for having an LED in it would be great. Rechargeable battery would be cool, or just one that takes more common batteries. Looking for something a little more commercial grade I could keep for a lifetime, if that does mean D cells then that's fine. Thanks man, I'll look into the brands you suggested as well.

Boy, I can't tell you how many times I've left my flashlight at the fire station under one of the truck tires. It's like some weird obsession/compulsion disorder. I had to go out of town once for a few days, so I set a whole box of them under a wheel. I think someone getting their bicycle licenced stole them.

I remember a device similar to magic ear that was like in the scholastic magazine at my middle school, or one of those catalogs for prizes if you sell candy for the school or something, and it was advertised as a spy ear, not for deaf people, maybe people complained so they decided to market it for hearing loss instead XD I thought that was super weird but I also wondered how it could amplify far things without deafening you when something loud happens.

That Kobe joke was something.
