From what I found online, First degree murder requires the intent to kill and premeditation/deliberation. Second degree ONLY requires intent.

Nimona, it’s on Netflix. It was one of the blue sky films in production before Blue Sky was shut down by disney. The project was 75% complete at the time. Annapurna pictures and Netflix revived the project. It’s my fav Blue Sky film I recommend.
