Some more.... 1. After 12-13 years of service an organized service officer mandatorily gets 3rd promotion and reaches level 13 (director level) with basic pay 1.23 lakh and may also get deputed in a PSU at GM/CVO level whereas a PSU employee will reach max. 80k or 90k basic pay level (manager/sr manager) at that time and it takes more than 25 years for a PSU GT to reach GM level (1.2 lakh basic level). Similar case with further promotions also. 2. Any organization can be privatized but difference is that when a PSU is privatized its employees are also privatized as they are not government employees but when a government department is made into a PSU or privatized the organized service officers do not become PSU or private employees they continue to retain their government officer status and work in different capacities either in a regulating role in department or on deputation to that PSU or in other government departments on choice. In short, they are immune to privatization. Evidence- ITS officers after corporatization of BSNL (in year 2000) & IOFS officers after corporatization of OFB (in process). 3. Intensity of deputation opportunities right from the very very junior levels like Dy. Development commissioners in SEZ and Regional passport officers upto higher levels like CMD/board of directors/CVO in Port Trusts, all rail and metro PSUs, BHEL, NBCC and many other big PSUs, DG of BEE, CEO censor board, SSC, various higher Secretariat posts in central and state government ministries and commissions even spcl Secy to UP CM Yogi ji and many more.. all these posts are at present held by railway officers on deputation. In PSU you work under management, in organised services, you are the management.

Sir, Railway mei bhi LTC chalu ho gaya h..7th pay commission ka jo report tha wahan demand kiya tha Railway employees ne..so wo approve kar diya gaya h .. Now railway people also entitled for flight fare. Mene official notification dekha h Aur sir salary initially jyada h lekin I think sir 3-4 promotion ke bad Central government ka pay scale jyada h

Yes but for that you have to surrender all 6 set pass of that year so people not choose but I will use. Salary increase after promotion true but they get production link bonus which is more at higher grade

Because in other organization unlogo ko 4 saal wait karna hoga... flight fare ke liye lekin Railway me 3 saal AC-2 tier mei ghum sakte h ..fir next yr pass surrender kar ke flight..matlab ghumna rukega nhi.. in a span of 4 yrs.. we can travel every yr ..train+flight milake
