We call her Mattie Black. She is the sister of Flat and Glossie. Most of the time, people forget the ‘i’ though, but she doesn’t complain. I do a lot of Don Jo. They help turn a long history of hack jobs into something professional quality looking. They must have people designing their stuff who have to do this work and not just sit at a desk. IDN has been great. Many other distributors don’t want to help us succeed. IDN’s service makes it worth just using them for everything. They often have stock when everyone else has “supply chain issues.” If you have a security business, IDN is a great resource. We like the L100s with the UL latches. They are holding up well, but the next big project might use the 300s. Did you do a comparison video on these models?

My IDN catalog looked a bit different. I assume since mine is technically an IDN-H. Hoffman catalog, and specifically for the North Central region. Either way, I can't wait to get my catalog soon.

No
Prefer using the LSDA 300 series since they came out. Never had one that you had to lift the lever to get the door open. Recently been coming across Schlage levers that use a "D" series style deadlach and relaced a broken one with an 1990's D" series deadlatch. The weight of the lock, deadlatch and the quality was extremely different. Looks like we will have alot of work replacing broken locks.

Since I'm a newbie just starting out, can I register to be set up to order through them? Do you solely order your stuff through them?

No we order through a variety of distributors depending on products needed but they are one of our longest main distributors. I don’t know their criteria, I would check their website for information or email to inquire

I started about a year ago. I’ve tried multiple times using their website and haven’t heard back getting “don’t call us, we’ll call you vibes” . They have a number you can call as well to register which might be the way to go 🤷♂️

It isn't hard to get an account set up with IDN. But, you have to be legit...and be able to provide basic documents.
