Idiopathic hypertension: The doctor is an idiot?

#shorts #hypertension #metabolicsyndrome
The real reason for hight blood pressure (hypertension) that your doctor may not be telling you. It is NOT idiopathic (unknown cause) in most cases. It is ALMOST always caused by lifestyle, diet, lack of exercise. Metabolic syndrome leads to central obesity, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, low HDL, type 2 diabetes, gout, and ultimately to cardiovascular disease. Get your insulin level and A1c checked.

When "Essential Hypertension" was first mentioned, sometime before thiazide anti-hypertensives came to market n the 1950s, it was thought thar older persons NEEDED increased pressures to maintain perfusion. So "essential" absolutely meant "necessary for life". That thiazides lowered elevated blood pressures without causing strokes proved that hypertension was NOT "essential". That didn't stop doctors & others from using the wrong term for the next 70 or so years! Since the cause SEEMED unknown, the term "idiopathic" was applied. That means "suffering of unknown cause". When radioactive mqterials were first approved for non-military use, some smart folks attached some to anri-insulin antibodies and started measuring insulin levels. So by 1967 it was seen that those with hypertension had elevated insulin levels, as did those with (peripheral or coronary) arterial-sclerosis, glucose intolerance, or just overweight. In 1997 a paper in The Journal of Nephrology, the mechanism whereby insulin drives sodium reabsorption, etc.. Gerald Reaven had shown the link to "metabolic syndrome X" as early as 1988. So, if your clinician continues to use the term "essential hypertension" they are indeed a pathetically uninformed idiot.

I partially agree BUT when people hear this, they don't lose weight or eat any healthier AND they WILL stop taking their BP medication because lot of people hate taking medicine. So, they end up with stroke, heart 💔 attack, killing their kidneys, and on dialysis, or leg 🦵 amputation from hardened arteries in legs and poor circulation.

I think people who bother to watch this know they just be proactive and treat the cause, not mask the symptoms. I believe an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and folks should find the source of the problem and be proactive with their life habits and diet plus seek natural remedies that are provided by our Creator
