Idi Amin's son narrates life in exile

Ойын-сауық

Jaffar Amin, the son of Uganda despot Idi Amin, was only 10 years old when Israeli commandos stormed the old terminal in Entebbe, rescuing the passengers of a hijacked Air France flight brought by the Palestinian and German terrorists to the African country. But he remembers the next morning and the reactions from his classmates well.Today we host him on Gather now network to recount these moments.

Like Jafa says down to earth and jolly, he is very down to earth and quite a jolly man. Not showing any scars from what could have surfaced from other people's opinion about him and his family connections or what he may have been tainted with from what the rest of the world thought of his father a tyrant, and vicious dictator. But what does the world and world leaders have to say about the architects of apartheid, destruction and division in the persons of PW Botha and his cohorts...I leave you to ponder on this awhile... keep up the good work GNN...🙏

Yet, he doesn't have the records of corruption and huge problems many if our sitting presidents do today. Till today, most of the infrastructure in Uganda was built by Idi Amin. And at that point in post colonial history,, to take back Uganda really from British meddling and too many Asians keeping what belonged to Africans, he played a big role. It changed the climate of Uganda till today. Not much people would have really heard of Uganda if not for Idi Amin.

He has achieved a higher level of education which is a direct contrast to his dad. His dad was arrogant, hot temper and rude because he was poorly educated. He has lust for women and has no idea on Uganda economy and foreigners contributions like Asians, though colonial masters were kicked out by him which was a good move. Wishing you my very best Jafer Amin.

Wow! What a beautiful human being! Some of us when we think about the so called atrocities committed by Idi Amin, we imagine that everything about him is bad. We are all wrong and Mr. Jaffar is a testament to that! Thank you for presenting to us the beautiful and good side of our former president....
