It's completely understandable that this young man's wife didn't want him to deploy into the hellscape of Gaza, his parents must have felt the same, but alongside their fear for his safety they must be so incredibly proud of him. After all, he didn't have to go. What a beautiful soul.

Maybe keep in mind that there are 2 billon muslims who will always put their own kind before any other people, other religions. So those charities will receve a lot of support from them and others. They woud never give to a Jewish charity. They call us and Christians the "people of the book" and they consider everyone else to be even less worthy. I don't know if you a lot a bit or a lot about islam, but to put it politely they are not exacty kind about Jewish people. There is even a saying and a documentary (by Pierre Rehov) with the same title; First comes Saturday than comes Sunday. Maybe it would help you to hear information from different sources. Sadly the MSM is not aways giving a complete and honest picture. Do you know Jordan Petersen? There are many good charities , almost all run by volunteers. After October many volunteers (also from abroad) started to organise to help the many victims and displaced Isaeli's with their first basic needs.Many Israeli's are still displaced, most in the North where Hez bo lah from Lebanon has been attacking Israel, joined by Irans proxies who attack the South, where the survivors from the 21 communities located near gaza went after the were rescued by the IDF. I dont know if you are aware that in Israel there also live 2 Million Arabs, who are muslims and also Christians, Druze, Bedouins.The don't call themselves "Palestinians"but Israeli Arabs. They were also among those who were attacked, wounded, kidnapped and m*rdered that day. And some were very brave and come to the rescue of the civilians who were under attack on October 7 >. Not all of them made it out alive. It was awful but ha- mas livestreamed that too(youtube removed the video.) There was 43 long compilation video made of ha- mas own footage and some from cctv. Its too gruesome to show in public. But they did show to selected groups of journalists.There are testimones from those hero's who survived as well. There are many many testimonies from survivors , and other witnesses. There has just been a n important documentary released that everyone should watch/share, filmed on exactlocatons with survivors. released hostages and other important witnesses. The title is : Screams Before Silence. You can watch it on a website with that tite. The very touching song at the end is sung by Ninette Tayeb.

I am a 77 yr old Christian women who follows this diabolical war instigated by Hamas through its hellish attack on innocent civilian young adults, moms, dads, children and senior citizens. The personal stories of survival on October 7th often bring me to tears. Listening to Aaron , who is from Great Neck, Long Island, especially struck home for me. He is candid , selfless and loving. I grew up in Merrick which is only miles from his family home. I feel very motherly toward him for his injury and young wife. I am extremely proud of him for his gratefulness and lack of bitterness in the face of dealing with pathological thugs . Some trust in chariots, some trust in horses but we will remember the name of our God. Israel will win the victory with the Lord God’s right arm! Shalom Aaron!
