I have a friend who soaks her fresh greens in slightly salty water. It cleans the leaves she says and removes any bugs that might still be on there. It might be worth a try with a few. Dont know if they absorb any of the salt though.

I saw Linda, The New Orleans Gardener use salt and baking soda on hers. My mother always used dishwashing liquid, but people are more health conscious now, so I didn't want to mention that! 😃

You're very welcome, Renee. I haven't dehydrated onion tops yet, but I do have a dehydrator. I might try doing it eventually. Right now I just chop up the tops and then quick freeze them on a cookie sheet so that they don't stick together. Then I put them in a zip lock bag and keep them in the freezer to use as I need them. They stay fresh for a long time. I can't remember. Do you have a video on dehydrating onions? If so, I'll check it out. Take care. 😊

I use labels, but they fade in the sun. 😥 I even drew a map this year, but I'm learning that I have to put in a lot more detail. Not giving up though! Thanks for watching!
