I love these spinners. Made three for my front porch. Made one for a spin mobile for a new babies crib, now I am making two for some gifts. They are so relaxing that I don’t know when I will stop. I am 83 years old and these so relaxing. They keep my blood pressure down.

@@patkrause4219 DK is an abbreviation for double knitting. Here in the US, a DK yarn is basically just a 3 weight yarn. I hope that makes sense. Sorry it took so long to get back to you.

Wow, thank you Anja! You've rekindled done great memories 💞 my grandmama ( great grandma) used to make these when I was a really small girl. I wild dance and play with them. She loved to hang them from the window valence in the very large bay window in her kitchen. As well as from the porch in the lil house out back where my Great Great Grandmama lived. I got my love of baking from her as well. Well always be a pie and cobbler girl over cakes any day !🥰 Have a delightful day Anja❣ Ps. I can't wait to share this with my youngest granddaughter who loves to Chet ( learning) at 6 years old. 🤗
