Idaho’s Newest Bike Park!
Спорт
It is always fun when a new bike park gets opened and I got to attend the grand opening of Discovery Park in Meridian, Idaho. If you have never ridden a Velosolutions pump track, I highly suggest making a trip if you are ever near one, they are built so well. I am also a big fan of dirt jumps and these ones are built so well, especially since they are step ups. I also talk to Joey for a bit in this video who will be in charge of maintaining the park, so if you ever stop by you might see him!

Looks to be a great and involved community, thanks April.
I’m an old guy that used to ride road bikes for many years, I used to put in from 100 to 200 miles per week, but that was a long time ago, this looks like so much fun, I like that you’re also learning so I can learn from you, thanks guys.

This place is so rad! Stoked it’s so close to home! Excited to see some progression.
I live in north Meridian so I drove down to view this new bike park today to scope out. Fantastic park overall with all kinds of activities for everyone. I'll be riding at this place often.
I did not make it up to Boise this summer, but I will definitely get over there next year!! Looks very exciting. Do share with us clips of you and Kyle riding this new park in future. Cheers
April could film and talk about paint drying and I would still watch. Braaaaappp!

Great job April.
Awesome park!
Looks amazing. It’s giving us some great ideas. I love the option of the changes they noticed right away what they need to clean up and/or hopefully make it flow getting it dialed in better knowing that oh it’s getting any changes even though we just built it it needs to get dialed in.

Loved the video looks like so much fun. My little sister has a dirt jumper and is trying to talk me into getting one. Having a park like this would be a good excuse.

the dirt seems SOILTACed. is it the case ? A minidoc explaining how a couple of really cool guys made this a reality would be GREAT ! Congrats !

I don’t believe it’s soiltaced, the jumps were pretty fresh and still being packed in. Maybe the rain we had just before helped too.
Great video take April 👍

@@AprilRideMTBI’m looking for a dirt jumper, i currently use my epic EVO carbon comp for mountain biking but want something more suitable for the tracks. What brand would you recommend? I appreciate it. Thanks.
Wish I could have something like that in my area. NY sucks though
Legal 👍
Would love to see some footage of skateboarders hitting the pump track
Your Velosolutions track makes ours look like a junior 😢. So awesome, we did the Railyard in Rodgers, AR yours looks better than that one too!!!

The Railyard velosolutions track is so fun! I thought it was the perfect place to progress. Have you been to the runway velosolutions pump track in Springdale? That is my favorite pump track! kzread.info/dash/bejne/hqCntad6XdLAgNY.htmlsi=wsQAs3T9nDo3YgHZ

@AprilRideMTB

The mountains is why I love Idaho!!! I can be at the top of the mountain one hour from my door, 40 min if I lived downtown.
Is it a bummer to anyone else that we don’t have a “rail yard” type of asphalt jump track and instead just repetitive pump tracks? I assume it’s a cost thing but man that would have been sweet
@AprilRideMTB
7 ай бұрын
The Railyard is soooo fun! But it is definitely a more expensive upfront cost to make it all paved and they did so, because the weather there deteriorated the dirt that they started with too quickly. I am just stoked that we even have any parks to ride!
Why are bike parks all about jumping?
that looks so fun i should get out there
awesome 😍
