It looks like is-40-xt just like is-40x, but the fan is mounted with a screw

They had to do that in order to make it AM5 compatible.

12400 is already pretty chill CPU with TDP of about 80w at full load. I don't believe 40-XT will give you an edge. It will be quieter, however. 50X would be certainly better.

Which one beter for Intel i7-12700. IS40XT or ordinary IS40X V3 ?

@@geekdk i read the TDP of XT only 95 while XV3 is 100w sir. Thats why i confuse

@@syarifairlangga4608 In this video ( kzread.info/dash/bejne/YmVmlchsmJTdhtI.html ) , I compare 40X and 40XT briefly. They look the same. They cut a bit of fins in XT to make a room for AM5 mounting.
