+Christopher Boyle Exactly! Your reply made me chuckle, but all matters concerned, it is better for both Mustis and ICS Vortex that they left this condescending band. At least, they are able to express their creative force in an unrestrained manner, a notable example being the marvellous solo project of ICS Vortex which you have mentioned. Dimmu Borgir, on the other hand, can remain the filthy slave of Nuclear Blast or whatever, because it is cristal clear that they are in an ardent pursuit for money, therefore, their music becoming something that I intensely despise. By the way, we should start listening to metal bands which are not heavily advertised or mainstream and ignore the newly transformed poser bands.

Sadly they never would. Mustis would have his work most likely uncredited again and pretty much stollen. Who would want to go back to work for someone who said they where unprofessional when they where nothing but professional. It was how they where treated that made them unprofessional. If you have seen their newer interviews with just Silenoz and Galder you would see that they think Shagrath Silenoz and Galder are Dimmu and that they where always Dimmu and that it was them three that made the music good. They are incredibly wrong. It suck's cose it hurt me the destruction of my once favorite band. Doesnt help that Immortals falling apart either.

@@RoninWaffle He's still a tenor, being 2m tall doesn't mean you can't have a high vocal register. That being said, you're right that he's inconsistent live. He's great in the studio, he's sometimes great live but sometimes you can hear his voice is just too tired.

I think that is the idea, specially if you listen carefully or read the lyrics, even the name of the song, and ofcourse the instrumentations aswell. Its all about a transformation, spiritual alchemy if you will. And that is what give the gosebumps, whe you fell that transformation tanking place, even if you dont understand what is transforming you feel it. Of course this isn something just of black metal or what ever, it can come with any kind of art or comunicaiton that is able to reach that deep inside. The song is called "The inside and the catharsis", and all they speak on the song is a type of spiritual alchemy that transform a "spectator" how see something it cant explain but it sees it, and the journey to try to show it to blindfolded people. It has a deep meaning, for those how have "seen" some spechless things that are there but are hard to explain. For example imagine someone how has seen paranormal activity, and everyone around dont believe it, but you have seen it, you have experienced it, and it can be really frustrating and challenging to show it to others. And some times is impossible to just, convince them, they need to see it too, and thats probably even harder to achieve. For example, the horrors of war, until you see them, you dont understand why we apreciate so much the peace, even if its hard to live among people how dont give a shit about others. There are in this world, a lot of things that we see, but just dont find a way to show it. So the song ends with a catharsis, wich is a powerfull twist in the transformation, that redirect the flow before it turns into violent, into something more like a salvation. Maybe you or who will read this, already know it or whatever. But that is, what a catharsis is, when you are becoming evil, and fortunately you find a way to redirect that flow into something more brigther. The same way, artist usually use their art as a catharsis too. This shows how deep understanding this band have, or has one day at least, on how this type of music, is rather than a call to evilness, is a call to catharsis.
